It was a rare occasion for Lynn to spend time around you and your family.

You spent so much time with hers, almost everyday. Sometimes you'd even go to her house when she wasn't there just so that you wouldn't be stuck in a quiet house.

With your parents busy schedule and your brother living so far, you didn't spend a lot of time together as a family. You saw each other sometimes on holidays but it wasn't set as an every year thing.

It took a while for Lynn to even get the chance to properly meet your parents. You never really made it a priority for them to meet her, but considering it was the cause of your first fight, you realized how important it was to her.

Lynn Loud was never the most patient person, she was learning that now.

You have been hanging out together for almost a full two years and she still hasn't met your parents. Not when you tutored her, not at your eleventh birthday party or your twelfth, not at any of your games, not ever.

Everytime she'd bring them up to you, you would just brush it off and claim it wasn't a 'good time.' That most definitely pissed her off and she was becoming impatient with you.

Normally, she could care less about meeting her friends parents. Not that she had many other friends to begin with.

You, however, were different from her other friends. You were someone special, someone she held close to her heart. Besides, you've met all of her big family and knew everything about them. Lynn on the other hand, knew nothing of your family.

Family was important to Lynn, despite her tough love cover up. She wanted to know where you got your humor and personality, funny stories from when you were younger, see embarrassing pictures of you as a baby, everything.

Did you not value your friendship the way she did? That was something Lynn had started questioning of herself.

She was fighting everything in her to not be upset with you, but it was cutting close. She was determined to meet your parents and if she didn't soon she would lose her mind.

You ended up quitting club soccer after a year of playing. You liked it and you were decent, but it wasn't something you were super passionate about. It was kind of starting to feel like a chore after a while.

Lynn never quit though, obviously not. She was bummed you dropped out but just saw it as an opportunity for you to finally make it to all of her games now.

You were at one of Lynn's games and you weren't sure what was up with her. Her team had just won the game, but you know she was beating herself up about her defense, which was a little off but nothing terrible. Her family couldn't make it to the game since all the younger girls had dentist appointments, but at least she had you in the stands. Right?
