After you left Lynn's, you felt more than ecstatic that you had finally made up. You slept the best you had all week that night, but Lynn not so much.

Your little peck had meant almost everything and more to her. So when she laid in bed and continuously thought back to it, she didn't get a blink of sleep. It was the fact you didn't even know the effect you had by doing that either.

In Lynn's mind, she interpreted it as you not even knowing what you were doing. In your mind, you thought you had hinted at your obvious crush on her. Even though you were more than obvious with it, it was still misread.

However it was finally friday and you didn't have tutoring, but Lynn had practice, meaning you were on your own for the walk home.

"Yo, Y/l/n!" You hear a voice from behind you, stopping in your tracks. God, he was never going to leave you be.

"What, Brayden?" You ask with an annoyed tone, trying your best to make it known you didn't want to talk to him.

"So, what? You don't wanna tutor me anymore?" Brayden practically shouts at you, storming closer to you so there wasn't much distance between you.

God, what was it with people always trying to agrue with you on your walk home from a draining day of school?

"Yes, precisely that." You state firmly, holding his angry stare.

"Care to explain why? Because I've done nothing to you," Brayden continues, getting right in your face.

"Your work wasn't improving and it seems you were more interested in me than trying," You explain calmly, which was the exact opposite of him. Your state of calmness and being unbothered only made him more mad.

"Me? Interested in you?" Brayden spoke, followed by a sarcastic laugh. "I could never like you, Y/l/n. I just wanted you to think that so you'd do my work," he shrugs nonchalantly.

Lynn had been right, once again. Props to her, you guess, now you felt terribly about yourself because of Brayden and how you treated Lynn.

"Fuck you, Brayden, seriously," you scoff, turning to walk away from the boy. You're already embarrassed and if you cry in front of him you might never show your face again.

"Whatever, Y/l/n, you're a bitch anyway," You hear behind you and you suddenly have no self control. You turn to him, swinging your fist to meet his nose.

"Don't talk to me ever again." You grit, watching him belt over and clutch his now bleeding nose.

"You're fucking crazy," He groans, tilting his head back and pinching his nose.

You don't waste another second of your time on him, turning to leave him there. He throws a few more insults at you, but you honestly don't care.

His words did sting a little, but you're sure your punch stung even more. You couldn't wait to tell Lynn about it later.
