[Tulip Towers, 11pm]

Nikita had freshened up after running away from him. She was falling for him and she didn't want that. She had kept her heart away from everyone and everything after she had gotten hurt in school, she didn't want to open up to anyone again. She didn't trust anyone. Not after him.

At around 11pm, she walked around her house, unable to sleep. She was in her shorts and a baggy, comfortable sweatshirt. She looked around and saw the doors of Aisha and Krutika locked. They seem fast asleep. She walked to her balcony when she suddenly heard slight noises outside her flat. She walked closer to the door, "Hello?"

She heard a small knock and she opened it. Him?
Her eyes widened.
"What... what are you doing here?"
"You forgot your food." He smirked, hanging her the bag.
"Oh...." She took it and placed it on the center table and was about to come near the door again when she noticed him enter and close the door, and lock it. "What... what are you doing?
"Nothing." He said, causally.
"You... you shouldn't be here." She whispered.
"Where should I be?" He said, coming close.
"I... I don't.. I don't know." She stammered.

He came closer to her and grabbed her hand. His eyes gazing at hers, without letting go. She was scared. Very scared. He was in her house. Her friends were right next here. To make things worse, she heard the noise of Aisha's door opening.

She gasped and looked at him in panic.
"Shit." She muttered and quickly grabbed his hand and took them both to her room and locked the door instantly. He was amused by her behavior and followed her quietly.
"Niki!" She heard Aisha knocking on the door.
Nikita panicked more and pushed Mayukh behind the door with one hand on his chest, to hold him in place, then she slightly opened the door.
"Yeah?" She whispered, seeing sleepy Aisha.
"All okay? I heard some noise."
"Yeah yeah. I... I was in the kitchen, heating up my food."
"Oh. Okay cool."
"You go sleep. Don't worry about it."
"I will. You sleep too. You don't have to finish the assignment tonight only."
"Yeah... don't worry. Go sleep!" Nikita said.

Behind the door, Mayukh was hearing this conversation but also focusing on her small hand resting on his chest. He felt in awe by her actions. He took his hand and gently caressed her hand, resulting in her body stiffening but she couldn't it as Aisha was there. He observed her room through his view.

Her bed was tidy, her study table was filled with books and her laptop open. She had a small temple made by her bed side table and her balcony door was open. He saw a picture of her family kept on her bedside. Finally, he saw the door close and Nikita locked it in a hurry and looked at him, "You shouldn't be here."
"Okay. I'll go!" He said causally smirking.
"No!" She caught his hand and held him in place, against the wall, "Wait till she sleeps."

They were inches away from each other but her eyes were focused on the door, hoping to hear any sound or movement, while his eyes were staring onto hers. Her every action. He noticed her closely today. Her little mole under her lips, her makeup free face. Her lashes were naturally long and beautiful, and her hair was tied in a clip. It was a nice shade of brown and black. A seamless mixture of the two. She had two piercings on her ear, both piercings adorned with a ring and a stud respectively. Her lips were a natural shade of pink.
Kissable, he thought, More than kissable tbh.
He took a deep breath to control his thoughts.

"So." He said trying to get his mind off his head.
She looked at him, suddenly realizing their closeness. She was about to turn away when he grabbed her waist and pulled her closer. She gasped and he turned them around so she was pinned against the wall, with him pushing her slowly against the wall, coming closer to her.

"I told you. I hate being ignored." His deep voice rang in her ear as he came closer and whispered.
She was too stunned to reply.
"I... you.. you should go." She whispered.
"You sure?" He whispered.
"Y...Yes." She said, looking down.
"Come on, let me help you with your work." He said, letting go and making his way to the study table, with her standing still, utterly scared.

She came to him slowly as she watched him reading through her assignment so far. He noticed his him rolling his sweatshirt's sleeves up. He looked very good. He indeed was handsome, there's no denying that - she just didn't want to accept it and act on it.

"This part isn't strong." His voice suddenly pulled him out of the trance as he looked at her.
"What?" She said, coming closer and sitting on the bed next to the table.
He took the laptop from the table and settled himself on the bed, with her sitting next to him.
"Look at this part, it's not great." He said, bringing the laptop towards her.

She knelt in and focused. Mayukh felt himself losing control as his arm brushed against hers and her hair was resting on him due to the wind, but he smiled slightly seeing her focus level suddenly boost.
"What's the issue?" Her voice pulled him out of the trance.
"Here." He showed her, "This part just highlights that same thing over and over again. You're being repetitive. Maybe replace it with this..." he said and started typing something. She watched him type and when he finished, he said again, "Read this. I fixed it."

She read what he wrote and was impressed. He was indeed very smart and good at his work. She nodded in agreement. He continued reading and editing it and within an hour, they both had fixed the assignment and it was complete.
"Here. Read your final thing. You still have like more than 10 days to do it, why did you rush it today?" He asked.
"Because.. I'll have another assignment later."
"Hmm, your time management is good." He smirked, "Time for something else now."
"W...What?"
He turned to her and came close, "I want coffee."
"What..I can't... make... right now."
"Why not?"
"Aisha and Krutika will wake up." She said.
"Hmmm. Correct." He said, "So now what?"
"Go home." She said, then she realized she ordered him and felt wrong and scared so she looked down and corrected herself, "please..."
He looked at her with a gaze, "I'll stay here today."
Her eyes widened. Is he insane?! "No!"
"Why not?" He smirked, "Scared?"
"I... You... You need to leave M—". She didn't take his name, for some reason, she didn't want to take his name.
"M what?" He whispered, "Say my name."

She didn't reply. He chuckled and got up and headed outside. She took a sight of relief and quickly followed him to make sure he isn't seen by anyone. When he reached outside the door, before she could close it, he came closer and grabbed her waist and pulled her towards him.
"By the way... my name is Mayukh. Get used to saying it... It's gonna be the only name keeping you up at night soon" he winked.
He watched her eyes widened and a small wave of red fill her face.
"See you in class." He said and walked out.

Nikita looked in shock at what just happened. She was insanely scared of him after their every encounter. Trying to ignore her thoughts, she went to bed.
