Mayukh POV:

"What do you want?" I asked her.
"You." She said, looking right at me.
I stepped back, "Have you lost it?! What makes you think you can ask me that??"
"Mayukh, please understand, I had a reason for everything, can we go get coffee so you can hear me out?" She said.
"Absolutely not. I don't even want to look at you, let alone have coffee with you. Now, if you'll excuse me, I don't wish to look at you." I said and walked off.

How dare she think she can talk to me?!
What's wrong with her?
Why does she have to show up at a time when things are going great in my life?! First Riya, now this issue. What am I stuck with?

'Where are you?' I texted.
'I'm just.... I'm in class.' She replied.

I walked ahead in anger, Shruti eating my head. Reaching her class, I stepped inside.
Everyone's eyes looked towards me, including her, who was in shock.
"Carry on Sir." I said, sitting next to her.
She stared at me in shock.
"What are you doing here?" She whispered.
"I wanted to see you." I whispered back.
"Why?"
"I don't need a reason babe." I said.
I saw her roll her eyes and go back to her studies.

I sat down and focused on my own work. I had a lot of things to plan for Nikita's birthday. I figured that she wanted to go to Lonavala for her birthday, but she doesn't know that I know and I plan to make this better for her.

Once class ended, we went outside and she looked at me, without saying anything.
"Do you want to ask something?" I asked her.
"Wh...what... no.." she said.
"Your face isn't very good at lying."
She sighed, "I... I don't know."
"You wanna ask what Shruti said, right?"
"W...what? No... I..."
"I'll tell you. Don't worry. Come." I said and took her hand and we went for a walk, "So, she said that she wants me."
"O...oh. What are you going to do?"
"What do you think?"
"Do you want her?"
"Why would you think that?"
"I don't know."
"I don't want her. I want her away from me and I'm gonna make sure that we stay away from her."
"How are we gonna do that?"
"That you don't worry. I'll manage it."
"I wanna help you."
"You don't worry, catch up with your work first, leave these problems. I'm here."
"Okay." She said and then I dropped her off to her accommodation before I went back to my room.

I walked in and found Ved sitting on the couch, so I walked to him, "What happened?"
"Bro, your ex is literally messaging me now."
"What?!"
"Yeah she texted me asking me to talk to her about what happened."
"This is getting too much."
"You need to sort out man, what you want."
"I'm already sorted. I know what I want and I don't want problems in that, and one problem is in front of me already."
"What are we going to do?"
"I know she's back for a reason. I need to figure out what that is."
"So... you suggest talking to her."
"Look, I'm going away this weekend with Nikita and I don't want that interrupted, so please just take this for the team?"
He chuckled, "I will. Don't worry."
"When you leaving?"
"Day after tommorow."
"What's the plan?"
"I'm planning to surprise her. She'll get her trip, but what she doesn't know is that there's a party for her as soon as she gets back here, to end the day."
"That's super cute!"
"You have to be there, I'm going to have it at my house, so Mom Dad Jhanvi Bhai can be there too."
"Perfect."
"Okay, I guess then, I have to go talk to her."

Just then we heard a knock at the door. Ved went to open it. Gautam Bhai.
"Hi Bhai." Ved said, as he came in.
"Hi bro. Mayukh," he said looking at me, "why is Shruti coming to my office asking for your number?"
"She what?!"
