Monday
It's the middle of fall, which means it's all about bundling up. Hats, gloves, scarfs, boots, coats, and earmuffs. And even during these times of fall, it starts to snow as winter is coming. Don't even get me started on the snow, and blizzards, and strong heavy winds. Despite all of that I actually love fall, the thought of staying inside drinking a hot chocolate excites me. And the snow is beautiful. Who doesn't like the pretty white particles?
Class is over and I stretch my arms out, getting rid of the stiffness in them. I finished with all my classes but my work isn't quite finish yet. An upcoming, very important, project needs to be done in about two weeks. I head over to the school's library and take a sit at a table with four chairs. I take off some things from my backpack: A model of a building design, some books, ruler, and a pencil.
"Yo Jisung!" Hyunjin silently shouts from afar, following up behind him, Seungmin and Felix.
"Why are you always here so early?" Hyunjin says while sitting next to me. "I'm not, you guys just don't hurry up. Now let's hurry up and get started on this project."
"Whoa slow down, Jisung. We got plenty of time to finish this project, let's take it easy now," Seungmin suggests. "Seungmin's right," Felix joins in.
And okay, maybe I was being too anxious about this project. I let out a sigh. "Yeah you're right, sorry."
Hyunjin warmly smiles, "All good, Ji. And guess what? I got that really pretty girl's number yesterday."
"That's amazing!" Seungmin exclaims.
And they all go on to talk about their love life. Felix getting all excited that him and his crush had made eye contact for like two seconds; Seungmin who got partnered up with this girl whom he is currently interested in; and Hyunjin who, as he said, got a girl's number. And all I could do is open my mouth in the shape of a 'o' and say 'congrats!'.
Seungmin turns to me, "What about you, Jisung? Haven't you got a crush?" I awkwardly giggle, "No. Nobody really has stood out to me."
"This guy.. You're gonna grow up old and single, dude!" Hyunjin says.
"As long as I'm old and happy, right?" The other two shake their heads in disagreement.
"Blind date?" Hyunjin suggests.
"Not happening."

After I'm done with my classes, and after my group work times with Hyunjin,Felix, and Seungmin; I go to work at a coffee shop near the campus. Up until it's 10:00 pm. You'd think they would have a little mercy for a hard working college student. And actually, there isn't really anything special about my life.
It's the same old boring days, going to classes, working, going home, and sleeping. I live alone in an apartment, since I preferred that instead of sharing a dorm with someone else.
If someone were to tell me about all the interesting stories I had throughout my life, I'd say I'd had none. Instead I'd tell them to ask one of my three friends, whose lives were actually pretty exciting to talk about. Maybe I'm being too serious about life. Maybe I was overthinking everything. Maybe I'm not being care free enough. But I like it that way. I like it organized. I like having no problems with love since I simply don't care about it. Yeah I might die alone, but I'll die with no regrets.
