Today is the last day of my study aboard experience. In other words, I was finally going home. My love and hate relationship with this new experience is finally coming to an end. I packed my bags last night as I had to leave around ten in the morning.

But before I could get going to the airport, me and Jeong-in along with Chan had planned to have one last hangout together, at the cafe. We talked and laughed about the memories we made here. I was relieved to let out all the awkward tension between Chan and I, even making jokes about it.

Jeong-in and I had made plans to meet each other back in Korea since he is also from there, and currently living there. As for Chan, we promised to text or call each other whenever we pleased. We hugged each other goodbye as we went on with the rest of the day.

I arrived back home where my parents were waiting for me in the car. I signaled for dad to lower the window. "I'm gonna go get my luggage first."

Dad shakes his head, "No just hop in. We already put it in the trunk."

"Oh okay. Thanks." I get inside the vehicle.

"Did you say bye to all your friends?" Mom asks.

"Yeah. I'm sure gonna miss them."

"Are you gonna be meeting that Chan guy?"

I frown, "No? He lives in Australia." She sighs, "That's too bad. He was a great match for you."

I roll my eyes. "Cut that out. I already told you about the guy I like. He's waiting for me back in at home. Just thinking about him makes me so excited to get back to Korea. Let's get going already, dad." He turns on the car, "Although I agree with your mom, I think we should get going now before you miss your flight."

"Yeah yeah. Whatever you guys say."

We arrive at the airport where I do the whole process of passports, and luggage, and all that other good stuff. Until eventually they call for my flight.

"Looks like it's time for you to get going. I'll miss you a lot, my son." Dad embraces me tightly as I also do the same. I pull back and turn to my mom who had teary eyes. She then hugs me.

"Make sure to call us often, okay?"

"I will don't worry," I pull back, "I should get going now. I'll miss you both! Love you both! Bye!" We say our goodbyes and before I know it I'm on the plane. Ready to get back home.

I wake up due to the announcement through the speakers. I come back to my senses and realized I was now back in Korea. I'm in Korea. I'm back in Korea. I'm back home. I couldn't believe a year has passed.

I get out the plane and get my luggage. I exit the main station where I drag along my suitcase. I had planned to immediately get a cab to go straight home, and then text Felix that I was going over to his place to see Minho. But my plans were changed when three guys came storming towards me.

"Ji!" They hug me all at once.

"Woah, I missed you guys! But why are you guys all here?"

They let go. "To see you, duh." Felix smiles brightly.

"How could we not come over to see you come back after a year?" Hyunjin says.

"Besides, we all came to pick you up. Now let's hurry up and get out of here." Seungmin said, already exiting the airport.

"I brought my car, hurry." Hyunjin says, following Seungmin.

"Geez, they're such in a rush." I say.
