Manik was ready to die, barely into his twenty years, he was okay with accepting his death.

For others or normal people, it was such a young age to die but he was okay with it. Normally he would fight and drag himself away from hell, alive.

But this time he didn't, for such an immature age, Manik has seen plenty of fucked up things. His own life is fucked up. And he has no one to blame.

Maybe that's why he hates when the older people calls him a kid. How is he a kid, if he has no innocence and does what he does everyday, covered in blood.

Manik is no kid, he doesn't have that luxury, it's long gone.

At some point, he got tired too. But still he would've put up a fight if it's others, only if it's not Nandini.

After his last mission, Manik was not okay. He was not okay since that night he started the war between Skulls and Cobras. Since he killed the most people, injured so many he lost the count.

He is not sane since that day she didn't came back to him.

Now Cabir is also not with him, so there's no one to control him.

Manik has no dreams or ambitions, he just does what he wants, beats people but now a big deals, not the street petty ones. He is tired and so after long time, he came back to his place in the mooncity.

He knows his sunshine is now Cobra's heir and searching for him. He knows she will come for him. He knows she hates him, well, he wants to hate her too.

But Manik underestimated Nandini.

They outsmarted him, he killed her men on that night too. He saw everything coming except her, he always knew she had it in her but too good to use it. The rage and violence. She came to kill him, said she loved him and so Manik was okay with dying in her hands.

Because it's her, he is okay.

But then she took Cabir's name. He wanted to kill her for that. Yet he was surrounded by flames and smokes, he was okay with it too.

Still Ranbir saved him, so fucking easily. Manik was thrown into his home that was set on fire and yet he came alive with no major burns.

It's ridiculous.

When Manik wanted to live, to survive, he had to fight with the death so brutally that it made him what he is now. Yet when he wanted to die, he got out alive. That's some fucked up fate, as if it's mocking on his face.

And so to the guy who slit his own wrists on the bridge, he turned into a main gangster with a plan. Manik got a new suit, a pup and went to place where he would be killed in a second if they wanted to. Jairam. That man could've killed him and did not turn back to care. Yet he shaked his hands with Manik.
