The old bridge shuddered literally.
Nandini expected the fight, blood and everything but still she was taken back as she didn't seen this coming. With that much time and preparation, Manik still came out of syllabus.
The situation is not right, tension is not equal.
It's pretty clear who has the upper hand. Both cheated, Manik didn't came alone, neither did Nandini.
Ofcourse, he didn't came with entourage like her but who would've thought he will come on a fucking chopper with his grenade gun. Again it's her men who paid the price for her decisions, she said to khurranas not to send men, but they didn't listened.
The guns they pointed at each other has a difference. Manik's a rocket launcher while Nandini's a rifle.
Manik grinned like a wild beast from the above as he got his mic back on, "Happy birthday, Sunshine", he greeted her as he also aimed his huge gun back at her.
Nandini looked at him wide eyes as she herself forget her birthday is today. Old Khurrana must be aware but he was caught up with lots of shit that he forget and there's no way Aryaman or Maheera has any idea.
But Manik knows as they spend her last birthday together. And he remembers.
Oh oh.
That does stings deep as Nandini realised how much he hates her and wants to kill her. This fucker, he choose this day intentionally. Does he want her death day to be the same as her birthday?
The younger fired her gun at Manik, she doesn't give a fuck anymore.
But again Manik is in a helicopter, so it was high up and kept moving, the wind was cruel, raising the dust in their eyes. The kept shooting at the propellers even though it didn't made much difference.
Manik launched one more rocket and Nandini stepped on the accelerator as Aryaman continued to shoot at helicopter. It missed and hit the car behind them, sending the car in air with fire and collapsing back on road, making the bridge shudder once again due to the impact.
The ladder was thrown out from the helicopter into the air and Manik climbed down the rope while they kept shooting at him, every bullet missed because this guy is moving like a fucking wild cat and the wind was not helping much.
Nandini kept her focus on shooting him. She is not sure but Manik lost his balance for a second before he gained it like nothing happened.
The pilot maintained the helicopter steady as Manik got down and landed on top of the truck that's behind Nandini.
