Even though Bruno let out a sad squeal, Manik left him in the backseat of his car and stepped down from the car, immediately there was an umbrella held for him by Prithvi to shield him from the rain.

With no care, Manik leaned back onto his car as he stared at the building that's burning in flames even though it's raining heavily. His brown leather trench coat upon his suit got wet due to the windy rain, he unbuttoned the waist button to take his cigar out.

Before he can reach out for the lighter in his other pocket, another hand came in with a lighter and lit Manik's cigar.

Ranbir with his own umbrella, lit Manik's cigar and kept his lighter back in his pocket as he stood beside Manik and looked at the building that's on fire, almost everything burnt and ashes remained. But still it burned as if it wants more pain and more flames, so that it can fall to the ground and then only ashes will remain.

"So, this is your Sunshine, Sir?" Ranbir inquired, his voice dripping with sarcasm and a hint of disbelief. He gestured towards the burning building with a slight tilt of his head, the orange glow of the flames dancing stubbornly under rain reflected in his eyes.

Ranbir continued, "I must say, Sir, your definition of brightness seems to involve quite a bit of destruction and chaos."

Manik took a long drag from his cigar, the smoke mingling with the acrid scent of burning debris. He watched impassively as the flames continued to consume what was left of the building, a twisted smile playing at the corners of his mouth.

He shrugs as maybe he deserves the sarcasm from the older guy because Ranbir is the only one who dared to tell him multiple times to not hang around here, it's not safe and reckless.

But Manik ignored him, he liked it here. It was small and comfortable, whenever he took a nap here, he always gets the dreams of him sleeping with her in the same bed. It became a habit and for that one small memory reminse, he kept showing up here.

"Do you think I have any weakness, Ranbir?" Manik inquired of his most trusted assassin, his voice carrying a hint of curiosity mixed with a touch of self-reflection as he crushed the cigar under his boot.

The question hung in the air, weighted with the implications it carried for a man in Manik's position of power and influence. But however, Ranbir didn't take long to answer. "Yes, sir. You're young, angry, impulsive, and reckless."

Manik lets out a sardonic laugh, his eyes gleaming with a mix of anger and something deeper. "Yeah, I'm fucking mad," he admits, his voice carrying a hint of self-awareness. "But you know who really pushes me over the edge? Who makes me lose all sense of control?" He pauses, his gaze fixed on the burning building. "It's her. She's the one who drives me off the road, sends me careening into chaos. And the worst part? I can't fucking stop myself from following her lead."

Ranbir fell into silence.

"It seems my little sunshine has developed a fondness for fire lately," Manik chuckled softly as now she successfully managed to rile him up. "Let me show her what a real inferno looks like."
