Seoul National University (SNU) had decided to participate in the prestigious inter-college competition organized by M Elite University. The event was a highly anticipated one, with only five colleges selected to participate each year. Jennie, Irene, Seulgi, Jisoo, Rosé, and Kai were all set to represent their university.

As they stood outside the bus, waiting to depart, Jennie glanced at her watch for what felt like the hundredth time. She was excited to reach M Elite University, but a part of her was also anxious. She had heard so much about the university's excellence and was worried that their team might not be able to keep up.

Jisoo and Rosé finally arrived, out of breath and giggling. Jisoo explained that Rosé's girlfriend was hungry, and Jennie couldn't help but roll her eyes good-naturedly.

As they settled into their seats on the bus, Seulgi couldn't help but feel a flutter in her chest. She had never been to M Elite University before and was both excited and nervous. Irene, sitting beside her, noticed her fidgeting and put a reassuring hand on her knee.

Jisoo and Rosé chatted excitedly, already planning their strategy for the competition. Kai, sitting beside Jennie, leaned in to whisper something in her ear, making her laugh.

As the bus approached M Elite University, the stunning architecture left them all in awe. Jennie felt a twinge of intimidation, wondering if their team was truly ready for this. Seulgi's heart raced with excitement, hoping to make new friends and connections. Irene smiled calmly, confident in their team's abilities. Jisoo and Rosé bounced up and down in their seats like rubber balls, radiating energy and enthusiasm. Kai grinned at Jennie, his eyes sparkling with mischief.

As they stepped out of the bus, the group was greeted by the imposing sight of M Elite University's main building. The sleek, modern architecture seemed to gleam in the sunlight, and the atmosphere was electric with excitement.

Jennie felt a shiver run down her spine as they made their way towards the entrance. She had heard so much about M Elite University's academic excellence and competitive spirit, and she couldn't help but feel a little intimidated.

Seulgi, on the other hand, was bubbling with enthusiasm. She had always been fascinated by the university's reputation for innovation and creativity, and she couldn't wait to explore the campus.

Irene smiled calmly as they walked, her eyes scanning the surroundings with interest. Jisoo and Rosé chattered excitedly, already planning their strategy for the competition. Kai walked beside Jennie, his eyes fixed on hers with a reassuring glint.

As they approached the main hall, a loud cheer erupted from the students, making Jennie curious. She walked towards the crowd, trying to see what all the fuss was about. That's when she saw her - a girl stepping out of a car, surrounded by three people. Jennie didn't get a good look at her face, but there was something about her that made Jennie's heart flutter.

Jennie turned to a nearby student and asked, "Who is that?"

The student smiled mischievously. "That's Priya, the president of the student council. She's a legend here at M Elite University."

Jennie's eyes widened in surprise. "The president?"

The student chuckled. "Yeah, she's only been her for 2 years and everyone loves, but she's already made a name for herself. She's smart, charismatic, and has a reputation for being fearless. Some people even call her the 'Queen of M Elite'."

Jennie's mind was reeling. She had never heard of anyone like Priya before. She couldn't wait to find out more about her.

Minutes later, Jennie and her friends decided to focus on settling into their dorms and exploring the campus. Jennie, typically reserved and cold, only opened up to her close friends, Seulgi, Rosé, Irene, and Jisoo. She barely spoke to Kai, her usual stoic demeanor making him feel frustrated and angry.

As they unpacked their bags in the girls' dorm, Jennie's friends tried to draw her out of her shell. "Wow, this place is amazing!" Seulgi exclaimed, gazing out the window at the lush greenery. Irene and Jisoo nodded in agreement, while Rosé tried to engage Jennie in conversation.

Irene, noticing Jennie's distance, attempted to lighten the mood. "Hey, Jennie, what do you think of our new classmates? Any potential friends?" Jennie raised an eyebrow, her gaze flicking to Irene before returning to her phone.

Jisoo, sitting next to Jennie on the bed, playfully nudged her. "Hey, Jennie, don't be so quiet. We're all in this together!" Jennie smiled slightly, her expression softening for a moment.

Only when her friends persisted in trying to include her did Jennie finally speak up, her voice measured and calm. "I'm just tired, that's all. Don't mind me."

As they continued to unpack and settle in, Jennie's friends tried to understand her reserved nature. They knew she wasn't one for small talk or idle chit-chat, but they also knew she had a soft spot for those close to her.

As the sun set over the campus, casting a warm orange glow over the bustling student union building, Jennie and her friends decided to let loose and enjoy the university's vibrant nightlife. The live band playing in the corner of the room was electrifying, their music a infectious blend of rock and pop that had everyone dancing and singing along.

"Come on, Jennie, dance with me!" Seulgi exclaimed, grabbing Jennie's hand and pulling her onto the dance floor. The music was pulsating, and the lights were flashing, creating a lively atmosphere. The air was filled with the sweet scent of perfume and the sound of laughter.

"Okay, okay!" Jennie laughed, spinning and twirling to the beat. Her long hair flew around her, and her eyes shone with excitement. She was wearing a stylish black dress that sparkled under the lights.

"This is so much fun!" Seulgi cheered, dancing alongside Jennie. She was wearing a bright yellow dress that stood out in the crowd, and her smile was infectious.

"Yeah, we needed a night out!" Rosé agreed, clapping along the sidelines. She was sitting at a table, sipping a drink and enjoying the music.

Just then, Kai appeared, trying to join in on the fun. "Hey, Jennie, want to dance with me?" he asked, his eyes sparkling with enthusiasm. His cologne filled the air, and his smile was charming.

Jennie politely declined, her expression cooling. "No, thanks, Kai. I'm good."

Kai's face fell, but he quickly recovered, hiding his disappointment behind a charming smile. "No worries, maybe next time," he said, trying to sound casual. His eyes lingered on Jennie for a moment, before he turned and walked away.

Jennie walked off the dance floor and sat down at a nearby table, looking uncomfortable and out of place. Her eyes scanned the room, feeling like an outsider.

As they finished their meal, Kai tried to join their conversation again. "Hey, guys, what's the plan for tomorrow?" he asked, trying to sound casual.

But Jennie just shrugged and looked away, not wanting to engage with him. "Goodnight, guys," she said, getting up and leaving the table. "I'll see you all tomorrow."

As she settled into bed, Jennie felt grateful for her friends, but also frustrated with herself for not being able to let loose and have fun. She knew she needed to work on opening up and trusting others, but it was harder than it seemed.
