Notes • aside from being part Palestinian himself and actively speaking out for Gaza on social media since 2021, Bilal Hasna had signed the letter created by Artists for Palestine UK, a collective of British artists working to support Palestinian liberation, to call on Sir Keir Starmer, a former human rights lawyer, to stop the UK's complicity to genocide and ending the selling of weapons to Israel if he is elected Prime Minister. As of writing, Starmer has been elected Prime Minister and is currently holding that role.
