Slumber Parties and "Studying"

  When my mom got home, I got the impression she had talk to Danny's dad across the hall, and had asked for Danny to come over for dinner and a slumber party. "Mom I don't need you to arrange a play date for me." I rolled my eyes at her. "Be nice. How is she doing at school? Are you two getting along?" I wanted to say, 'Yes of course. she's even making me question my sexuality.', but instead I just shrugged. "I guess." "Great. And she needs help in Algebra so...don't just talk about boys all night. Help her." "Mom i'm not even freaking taking Algebra myself." I rolled my eyes and went back t0 my room. "If you pushed yourself harder maybe you would be!" My mom called up.

   I put in my headphones and before I knew it, I couldn't hear the knock, and I was so far out in my little world of singing, I didn't notice she was standing right at my door. I was singing Same Love and right about the part where he goes "when kids are walking around in the hallway plagued by pain in their heart, a world so hateful someone would rather die then be who they are." I noticed the goddess in my room. I quickly pulled out my headphones and blushed. "How long were you there?" "Just about when the song started." She giggled. "Oh you bitch." I laughed a little and I came over to her and gave her a hug. "Hi."

    After about an hour, my mom called us for dinner. I told Danny to take her plate to my room, I'm sure she wanted privacy just as much as I did. I didn't bother to eat. I'd be fine. "You know you can eat in front of me right?" She looked over at me. "Yeah. I'm just not hungry." "Come here." she patted the space on the floor. I sat down beside her. "Open." I opened my mouth. She stuffed a spoonful of food in my mouth like I was a child. "Good girl." She giggled. "One more. Come onnn." "Then you'll leave me alone about eating?" She nodded. She did it once more and then I looked at her. "So you're having trouble in your algebra class?" "Not really. I just told my dad that so he'd let me stay over."

     "So um...what music do you like?" "One Direction, Sleeping With Sirens, and oh my god Macklemore." I smiled a little at her. "You wanna watch a movie?" "Sure." she shrugged. I went to go put in something scary and made popcorn, then came up with two cans of soda, a bowl of popcorn, and a really big blanket. "I hope you don't mind if we sleep on the floor, my bed's not big enough for two people." I started putting pillows and stuff to line the floor and a big body pillow for both of our heads. "Oh it's fine. I don't care." She smiled. "Hey where's your bathroom? I hope you don't mind if I go take off my makeup and stuff." I showed her to the bathroom and went back in my room.

      She came back in with her hair up in a messy bun, black, small framed glasses on, and she started to pull out her pajamas from her bag. She still looked like Aphrodite, the goddess of beauty. I went in my closet and pulled out some short shorts and a baggy tee. We both started to change and I tried to keep my head down, I looked up once and noticed her staring at me. We both blushed and put our shirts on and laid down on the floor bed.

       About halfway into the movie, she looked up at me. "Emmy, i'm cold.." "You want me to get another blanket?" "No..but can I cuddle up to you?" I nodded, slowly, trying not to let a smile creep up on my lips. I was the big spoon and I just held her closer to me. "Warm?" I kissed her cheek. "Mhm." she nodded.
