CHAPTER TWENTY NINE - Free Falling Snow

(Smii7y's P.O.V)

It's been awhile since I asked (Y/N) on a date, but today's the day, It's finally happening. I couldn't sleep. I was too nervous. I didn't even plan for it but today was the first day that it started to snow in Canada, which made my plans even more perfect and sentimental. I wish I could take in the sight but I couldn't sit in one place too long. I'm stressed the fuck out.

     and Johns here...

"Pussy." John whispers, watching as I paced the living room again.

I laugh with him, finally plopping down on the couch beside him, "This is terrifying."

"Waaa waaa," John mocks, "You'll be fine, and last time I said that, I was right so..."

"I just want her to be comfortable and have a good time, that's really all I care about. But because you won't fucking helping me..." I pause, glaring over at him, he let out a little chuckle, "I am clueless."

"Whatever dude. I helped you plenty. I just didn't want you to use my ideas."

"Oh? So you can use them? When was the last time you went on a date hmm?"

     "Fuck you asshole!"

Hours passed and I didn't calm down. As I made my way to (Y/N)'s house with John I ran through the day in my head, hoping all goes smoothly. I pull up a couple minutes later, arriving about 10 minutes early.

John claps me on the back, grinning. "You got this, man. Just be yourself. Well, maybe a slightly less awkward version of yourself."

"Thanks, John. Really helpful," I say, rolling my eyes but smiling. He gives me a thumbs up, heading in to let her know I'm here.

     Here goes nothing.

(Y/N)'s P.O.V)

"(Y/N), Smii7y is outside!" I heard John yell as he through our front door. As soon as I heard, my nerves and emotions go crazy.

"Do I look okay?" I ask, walking up to John. He walks over, adjusting my necklace.

     "Now you do. Goodluck."

I step out the door. I felt another rush of excitement and anxiety when I see him in his car. As I moved closer he finally noticed I was there, perking up and waving happily before getting out. "Hey (Y/N)! It's great to see you," he smiles, opening his arms for a hug. "You look amazing!"

"Thanks!" I say, wrapping my arms around him. "You look great too." As we pull back from the hug, there's a moment of awkward silence before he gestures toward the car.

"Ready to go?" he asks, a hint of nervousness in his voice.

"Y-yeah, let's do this," I reply with a smile. We get into the car, and he starts backing out and driving. I watch the snow fall down slowly, music softly playing in the background, and I find myself relaxing a bit.

"So...how have you been?" he asks, glancing over at me with a warm smile, "I know we've talked a little over text but since I last saw you...anything new?"

"I've honestly been good. Nothing super new," I say, trying to keep my voice steady. "I'm a little nervous, but when am I not. How about you?"

"Same here," he admits with a chuckle. "I've been looking forward to this since its been planned."

"Same, what are we doing?" I ask. We never really discussed what it is we were doing, only that he would take care of it all, no matter how much I offered to help.
