Chapter 13

* The next day *
* Isla-Wren's POV *

I wake up from the best sleep of my life to someone rubbing my back
Lucy: It's time to wake up Munchkin
I roll over carefully and look up to see Lucy smiling at me
Lucy: Good morning beautiful
I smile and hug her
Lucy: do you want to get changed then we can have some breakfast and you can take Nala on a walk with Kiera if you want before we go
I nod my head with a smile
Lucy: I will be downstairs waiting
I nod and she leaves so I get my school uniform on then pack all my stuff into my school bag before going downstairs and dropping my bag at the front door as I go to the kitchen to meet Lucy and Kiera
Kiera: Good morning kiddo
She smiles and I smile back waving at her and Nala runs upto me so I stroke her head a bit before Lucy says this
Lucy: What would you like for breakfast?
Isla-Wren: I don't usually have breakfast so I don't know
I see Lucy and Keira glance at eachother before Keira says
Keira: what about some chocolate spread on toast?
She says with an exaggerating and excited voice and I nod with a smile and Lucy starts making that so I go and sit at the table giving Nala some fuss.

About 5 minutes later, Lucy and Keira both walk over with their breakfast and Lucy puts mine Infront of me and we eat.
My breakfast was really tasty.

After I finished eating
Isla-Wren: Thank you, that was yummy
I say to them both and they smile
Lucy: No problem munchkin
Keira: Do you want to come with me to walk Nala?
I nod with a smile
Keira: Come on then, I'm gonna sort Nala out then we can go
I nod and she goes
Lucy: Have a good time
I nod and give her a hug when Keira comes back
Keira: Ready?
I nod
Keira: Let's go then
Lucy: See you guys later
Keira: Bye babe
I wave to Lucy and me and Keira go.

The walk is really nice and me and Keira make small conversations and have a comfortable silence.

After a half an hour walk, we are back and I go to the living room where I see Lucy on the sofa so I go over and sit next to her
Lucy: Hiya Munchkin, did you have fun?
I nod
Isla-Wren: Keira's nice not as nice as you but she's nice
Lucy smiles and laughs
Lucy: She is, unfortunately we need to go now
I pout but nod and walk with Lucy to the door where we see Keira
Keira: Are you heading off?
Lucy nods
Keira: well, it was lovely to see you Kiddo, I will see you soon
I nod and hug her
Isla-Wren: Bye
Me and Lucy get in the car and drive back home.

When we get there, Lucy gets out first then helps me out and then I hold her hand as we walk in to be met with Nate
Nate: Hiya Guys
He smiles
Nate: Let's go in here
He gestures to Mrs Greenwich's office so we do that and I sit on Lucy's lap again
Nate: so how was your sleepover Isla-Wren?
I give him 2 thumbs up and a smile again and he smiles back at me
Nate: that's amazing
I nod
Nate: What about you Lucy, how do you feel it went?
Lucy: I think it went really well
Nate nods
Nate: That's really good, so the next step is for you Isla-Wren to go and live with Lucy then I either do a home visit or we video call once a week for a month.
I look at Lucy excited and she matches that
Lucy: Do you want that munchkin?
I nod furiously
Nate: We can do the move in as soon as Saturday so what ever works for you Lucy
Lucy nods
Lucy: Saturday works for me if it does for Izzy
She looks down at me and I nod with a smile.
Nate: That's settled then, You will move in with your mum on Saturday Isla-Wren
I bounce up and down looking at Lucy excited
Nate looks at his watch then says
Nate: Now, you need to go to school Isla-Wren
I nod with  sad face and hug Lucy tight before walking out with her but she gets into her car and I walk to school.
