August 25th, One Day Before The Show:

"This song is amazing, Jude," Vivi said, as they all sat on the living room floor in a circle,

"Seriously, you have a true talent."

"Thank you, Vivi," Jude smiled, "we sound fantastic playing it too."

"Incredible." Bomb smirked.

"We're going to blow everyone away with this one," Taryn chimed in.

They sipped on hot tea, fresh after showers, reminiscing on their busy day. All day they had been practicing, rehearsing, singing, and everything and anything else Jude could think of. Once they were done, half deaf because of practicing in this apartment with their instruments, which wasn't small, but it also wasn't gigantic, they'd stored their instruments at Ignacio's, since his store was two minutes away from where tomorrow's event was taking place in. She wished that they had yesterday as well, but the club incident had washed over any possibility of it. But it was fine, in the end, they still sounded and looked well. Even though there were small mishaps here and there.

Only you would notice that, Jude! Vivi cried earlier today when Jude pointed out that a slight harmony was off-key.

Me and our future producers.

And Madoc. Though she did not say that out loud.

"I really love the feel of the song," Bomb said, "I want it all! Like you want to eat the world alive."

"Like you want all of Cardan Greenbriar," Vivi wiggled her eyebrows.

"No. We're not doing this." Jude said sternly. She did not want to think of Cardan and all of what happened last night.

"Oh, come on, last night—"

"Vivi." Both Jude and Taryn said. Same cold tone. Same threatening eyes.

"Gee," Vivi shivered, "sometimes you two can be unsettling. And you, Taryn? Aren't you supposed to eb the sweet one? Why do you look so scary right now."

"Don't forget we share the same, 'scary,' face," Jude informed her, intensifying her crazy stare on purpose.

"Freaks," Vivi sighed, "absolute freaks. Whatever! You guys are boring."

"She doesn't want to speak about it. You guys bother her too much about that guy. Leave it alone," Taryn said, and Jude was insanely grateful.

"She bothers us too much about that guy!" Vivi countered, "With her revenge plans and stuff."

"Revenge is necessary." Jude simply said.

"Can't help you there, Jude." Taryn giggled, sipping her tea.

"Don't need it, we're very close to our plans succeeding. That's all I need."
After this, they continued to chatter about work, about college. Taryn who was complaining about how she wished for a man to sweep her off her feet and maintain her. The other girls teasing her about it being Ghost, whose real name was Garrek. Then Bomb, who was still texting Roach, whose weird name was still Roach. And Vivi, who was coming by Jude's work more often each time.

Jude figured out it was to talk to her coworker, Heather.

"Dude, she's beautiful!" Vivi said, as if entranced by simply remembering the girl, "We met the night of the karaoke. I went to the restroom, and she was there. Gave me her phone number and everything."

"How sweet," Jude mumbled, not that she wasn't happy for all of them. She was. Sure, she was getting over the fact that they were interested in the guys of their opposing band... Okay, she was getting used to it slowly. She didn't allow herself to be real friends with Cardan because of the show! And then, there was Vivi's romance, which Jude was sure was the reason behind Vivi being an airhead all day. Why didn't they understand the urgency of—
