Love Is Love (Sodapop Curtis Love Story)

Ch2

We all entered a small beat up house that I was guessing was Sodapop's.

When I walked in there there were 3 more boys in the house.

"Ginger this here is the oldest Curtis brother, Darry" Sodapop said. Darry shook my hand and I smiled sweetly.

"That's Dally" he said pointing to a tall deep dark brown haired boy. He winked at me and my eyes kind of widened cause that's not really how you treat a woman.

"And that's Johnny" He said putting his arm around him. Johnny gave a little wave.

They all seemed like nice boys well not really Dally cause he looked mean with his hard blue eyes.

"So Ginger where ya from" Darry asked obviously trying to make conversation. I hesitated a little. Should I tell them that I am from the future. I decided not too cause I don't know if that's a bad thing or not.

"Pittsburgh Pa" I answered. He nodded. "What's a girl like you from Pittsburgh doin' all the way down here in Tulsa" Dally said. WTF I'm in Tulsa, as in Oklahoma?

"Needed to get out" is all I could think of. "Same here doll" Dally smirked.

"You gotta place to stay cause you can stay here I'm sure Two-Bit here will give you the couch a couple nights" Sodapop said.

Do I really need to stay here or should I try to find a way back home. I guess I will just stay, but just to get me back on tracks.

"Yeah if you guys don't mind" I said. "Yeah it would be no problem" Darry said.

"Ok great thanks"

-----Later on----

We were all watching Mickey Mouse like why in the hell do they watch this and not a drama like Pretty Little Liars or Orange is the New Black.

"I'm headed out to Buck's anyone want to come" Dally said getting up. Two-Bit and Steve followed.

"What's Buck's" I spoke up.

"Bar, ever been to one" Dally scoffed. "Matter of fact I have" I said. Dally seemed surprised.

"Wanna come?" He asked. "No I am still recovering from a hangover thank you" I said a little sassy. It was true I still had a headache.

I just noticed I don't have any clothes or makeup. It was only 6pm so maybe I will ask someone to come get some basic needs.

"Sodapop can you come outside with me" I said and went outside, he followed me. "I don't have any clothes or makeup do you think we can run down to like a dollar store and get some cheap t-shirts, pants and makeup please" I said.

"Yeah of course darling let me go get the keys" he said and ran inside I heard him tell Darry where he was going.

We got into the truck and we went to this Uni-Mart. We got into the store and I just grabbed a pack of white t-shirts 1 pair of sweat pants and a pair of jean shorts and basic eye makeup.

Sodapop was still looking for stuff while I went up to the store clerk.

"Hey baby why don't we ditch your boyfriend and get out of here" the clerk said as he glided his hand down my shoulder and trying to take off my dress in the process.

I smack his hand away and he smack me across the face and I fell to the ground. Sodapop came and started beating the shit out of him from behind the counter. He finally came and helped me up all I could do was hug him my hot tears were staining his flannel.

"It's okay darling your fine now" he whispered. I finally stopped crying and we bought the things but with a different clerk.

We walked out into the truck and just kinda sat there until I spoke up "Thanks so much for what you did Sodapop I really mean it"

"Only for the people that I love" he whispered. I looked at him.
"What" I smiled almost laughing.

"Well you see not like love love like boyfriend girlfriend lo-" I cut off his rambling and crashed my lips onto his he didn't kissed back at first but then he did.

He picked me up and I straddled him but then I stopped and looked at him and sat back in the passenger seat. He looked kinda sad.

"Did I do something wrong?" He asked with worry in his voice.

"No no no no Sodapop your great it's just that I'm not looking for a relationship right now so don't worry it's not you its me" I said looking out the window

I'm so freaking stupid why am I so scared of loving someone. Sodapop is a great guy but I'm so scared that I will get hurt. I don't wanna be one of those girls that sit and cry for weeks about a heartbreak I just can't.
