was it too hard to love me?
to hold me tenderly with sparkles it the eyes
watching us together in our hoping
watching how any despair dies.
you know i wanted to be your ballet dancer
like pink pointe shoes on old theatre stage
but you told me you treated me like cancer
like i was the poison of your age.
sorry, darling, i know you regret
promise i never would want to hurt you
i am the most awful person you met
but till the day of my death i will love you.
