Chapter 14 - Unexpected turns

"Excuse me."

I softly called , changing my voice a little as I tried to get through between them but they didn't seem to hear me as they were too busy being intense only focusing on each other.

I successfully stopped Right infront of where Gun and Daniel was. Out of nowhere , Gun then decides to add a Brazilian kick on Daniel as if I was not right informt of both of them?!

Suddenly out of nowhere again , Vasco appeared ready to fight Gun And protect Daniel.

'Great... am I that invisible to them?'

I just decided to use this moment as an opportunity to get past them without getting hit.

But no cause turns out after doing that , Daniel finally noticed my presence as his eyes widened when he saw the fist that Gun had aimed towards Vasco was now directed on to me cause I had somehow ended up in the way.

I could feel my heart stop beating from the sight of Gun's fist coming in my way.

'Sigh I wanted to live longer...'

"Shit-" Gun cursed looking at me who's currently in his way. He knows that if this punch of his landed on me , a poor innocent girl , The chairman's not going to like it. Plus there'll be lots of cleaning up to do with the media.

What's strange was that , the stinging feeling or immense pain I was suppose to be feeling by now didn't appear.

I slowly opened my eyes to find my hand gripping onto Gun's fist-?

'What the hell...'

The air was silent and I could definitely feel all four of their eyes on me , shocked that I had stopped Gun's fist.

Well make that 5 including me , honestly I really thought I was done for.

[GUNS POV]

For a split second I saw it , the dark eyes that flashed for a moment before it was replaced by panic.

"Owwow , it hurts..." I heard the person winced as they rubbed the palm of their hands hoping it would soothe the pain and redness.

'This person could be a girl based on their height and figure but this strength...'

Before I knew it the person released my hand from their grip and started kneeling on the ground?

I dont know why but I'm suddenly here in the schools parking lot kneeling down on my knees , praying to someone or maybe even a god to help me safely get back home.

I ddidnt mean to interfere with any of this in the first place!

Realising what I was doing, I quickly got up from embarrassment. I slowly looked up peeking what was going on , and I really wished I hadn't done that.

I could see Gun gazing down , looking at his hand where I had caught just now as he notices a bruise that I had left there.

'B-bruise?!' My eyes widened noticing the bruise on his hand , casue ain't no way I did that?

'Yea it probably was some old bruise he had before...'

Slowly , I could then see Gun's mouth lifting up into a sinister smile as if a sense of excitement probably had struck past him.

'Shit that's the laugh..'

Sensing danger , I wasted no time and sprinted away from the four of them.

"That was close , if i hadnt run they would've interrogated me right there and then..." I muttered in relief , still panting from the run and removed the hoodie as i let my hair down free.
