"Out of all the times and places…" I groaned to myself, kicking a poor pebble as I walked.
"Why did I have to run into him at the hospital? I couldn't believe my luck or lack of it..."
Seriously, the universe had it out for me today.
I was currently on my way back home, still fuming about my so-called 'luck' when a voice suddenly called out my name.
Well it was slurred, like the person was either tired or... drunk? Whatever anyways.
I stopped in my tracks and turned around, curious and slightly concerned , cause it was at night after all.
"Y/nn..nnn..."
And it was...Jiho?
Well its definitely Jiho alright and he looks either tipsy or , if not outright drunk. My eyes then quickly flicked to the two figures behind him. Squinting, I realized one of them was...
'Jake?!'
I opened my mouth, about to ask what was going on, but before I could even get a word out, Jake beat me to it.
"Jiho , is she also one of your friends?" He asked Jiho as he eyed me up and down curiously.
'Woah..i thought it was in the early stages of the webtoon but why does he look so..good looking?..'
"Yesss! she is actuallyyy. A veryyy goooood friendd." Jiho awnsers , not even hesitating as all three of them starts walking closer.
'He..must have drank alot i see..' I thought to myself looking at his drunken posture and movements.
He cant even walk properly no more!
"Ah, I'm sorry about this. He's a little drunk right now.." Jake apologized, bowing his head politely, while the other guy just kept staring at me like some kind of creep!
"Huh? Oh, uhh, it's okay... Just you know , make sure he gets home safe." I replied quickly , feeling a bit awkward under the guy's intense gaze.
"Of course. We will make sure he returns home safely." Jake replies back nicely , too nice actually.
"Uhmm alright then. I'm sorry but I got to go now."
"Of course. Have a good night," the other guy joined in , finally speaking.
"You too." I said with a polite smile before I turned around , feeling relieved to finally be able to head home.
'As much as I want to help you Jiho , I can't. You're digging yourself a bigger grave each time...' I sighed. Just thinking about it made me want to knock some sense into him.
But just as I was about to take another step forward, I hesitated and turned back to face them.
The two guys just looked at me, clearly confused with my movements while Jiho... well, he was just doing his usual drunk Jiho thing.
"Well , and when you get him home , help me warn him to stop playing that betting game. Its obviously a scam and people who are running that should definetly be locked up."
After saying what I needed to say , I turned back around and went on with my way.
And you could say it was definitely a handful for a first meet.
'Gosh why must he be that good looking!!'

"Yea..Jiho does seem out of it these days.." Daniel spoke , clearly concerned for Jiho.
As much as I wanted to feel bad for him now , hes never learning. In fact , he just keeps on digging his own grave deeper amd deeper.
Despite Daniel's concern , I stayed quiet about it until Daniel decided to speak up again.
