"Ugh..."
"Umm is she okay? She's been groaning for the past 10 minutes..." Daniel asked Zack worried.
Zack just shrugged Daniel off , not really giving any care or thoughts as he replied.
"Well she is a little weird."
With the school bell ringing , I turned my attention back to the front of the class , still thinking about all the shit that had happend during the holidays.
'It wasnt even considered a holiday , it was just hell of dodging and getting kicked out...' just thinking about it made me groan again in frustration.
'WHY IS IT ALWAYS ME!'
Before i knew it , the teacher came in and announced that theres a new student who'll be joining us.
What he said then caught my attention. Well I wasn't surprised or anything , infact I already knew this was gonna happend.
Well this wasn't the case for others...
While theres me , the other students couldnt keep their excitement as they started whispering with each other.
"Is it a guy?!"
"Is it a girl?!"
I could already tell that the teacher wanted to resign... 'Poor him.'
"It's a girl." He replied with a sigh , probably thinking he wasn't paid enough for this.
A loud cheer was then heard from the group of boys when they found out the new student was a girl , but sadly that soon died down when a short chubby girl appeared walking in.
"Hello. Im Crystal Choi. Nice to meet you."
I couldn't help but stare at her... hmm...
'She looks somewhat cute?' I closed my eyes , striking that one thinking pose with ny hands on my chin.
"Remember how I said she was a 'little' weird? I take that back she is definitely weird." Zack mocked with a teasing tone , speaking as loud as he could as if he wanted the whole world to know about my weirdness.
Gosh he sure does like to push my buttons, especially in front of a crowd. Whether it was all in good fun or not , it was impossible for me to resist the urge to retaliate.
Like i've always done.
"Well it is hard having a classmate like her," he continued, acting all oblivious to what was coming. "Like, one minute she's normal, and the next she's doing something totally bizarre-"
Slowly , I turned around, locking eyes with him. I didn't say a word, just gave him a slow, menacing smile that crept across my face.
Zack's once so confident grin then faltered. I saw it-the hesitation in his eyes, the slight shift in his posture as he registered my expression.
"W-what are you looking at?..." he trailed off, the humor in his voice replaced by a nervous chuckle. "I was just kidding, alright? Don't give me that look."
I didn't break the stare, letting the moment stretch out longer than necessary. I could see him starting to fidget, his shoulders tensing as if a cold breeze had suddenly passed through the room.
"Hoho , am I that weird to you? Hmm I have something on my phone maybe Mira would love to check it out-"
Finally, he couldn't take it anymore. "Alright, alright, you win!" He raised his hands in surrender, backing away slightly, trying to laugh it off.
Looking at the sight before me , I couldnt help but let out a soft, amused chuckle.
Slowly , I came into focus on what was happening behind Zack. There Daniel was , introducing himself to Crystal.
