UNKNOWN:THE ELVES VILLEGE.
It's been a month now since Adonis left, when it was announced that he ran away, most of them were happy that they finally got rid of him. The others were angry because they were looking forward for his execution. They thought life would be easier without him being around. But they were defiantly wrong.
Adonis was the number one hunter of the village, he was the bravest, and the strongest. Taking hearts from humans, was like taking candy from a kid. He seemed to fear nothing, and would kill with cold blood, he was they only one who could go too close to them and he was also the only one who could talk to them and trick them.
But now. We kinda realized that most of the other hunters were just cowards, they would only hunt at night time, and naturally, humans are not stupid enough to wander around at night in a forest where a lot of people disappeared without any traces. Only some stupid adventurers was all we got.
We went from getting over ten hearts a day, to only two or three if we're lucky enough.
Evan still had no progress at all which angered Theodore to the fullest. Who would blame Evan though? He can't go further than the outskirts of the city, since he's an elf obviously, if they saw him, he will immediately turn into a lab rat, like a lot and a lot of others. He literally searched for him in every corner of the forest, but there was no traces of his scent anywhere.
Rumors were going by, that he left to the human city for good, though it didn't sound very convincing because we all knew that he can't stay in the human form for too long, and that it was really dangerous to get that close to humans.
But if you think about it, Adonis was never normal.
And that's something he would definitely do, especially after the humiliation and abuse he had endured here.
I rise from my seat in the center of the small lake, the warm water flowing down my body and hair, shimmering like a waterfall. The cooling breeze instantly caresses my tall frame as I stride towards where I've left my clothes and towel.
Softly, I murmur to myself, my eyes fixed on the glistening droplets of water sliding down my skin.
"A very unique and interesting being, huh." I muttered to myself as I dried my face.
"It would be a pity to see that frosty storm extinguished, wouldn't it?" I stretched my arms above my head.
"What if I could tame that storm," I mused, "I would possess the most potent weapon imaginable, wouldn't I?"
"It's not like I don't know where exactly to find that beautiful, unique creation." I chuckled to myself.
I took a seat on one of the damp rocks, surrounded by the tranquil ambiance of this place. The sweet fragrance of diverse flowers fills the air, drawing a swarm of beautiful bees and butterflies that add to the natural beauty.
I reached out and pick a captivating purple Peony, bringing it towards my face to savor its delightful scent. The fragrance is both refreshing and soothing.
Suddenly, a delicate, gentle butterfly alighted on the peony with a gentle perch, carefully exploring its surroundings. I observed the butterfly's delicate movements, its elegant wings sparkling in the sunlight.
"To catch a beautiful prey... You need a beautiful bait," I murmured softly. "You need to make sure that your prey feels comforted and secure."
I extended my finger to gently caress the butterfly's fragile wings, their thin, light green and blue hues catching the sun's light brilliantly.
