"Let me tell this good news to Maa." Subham picked up his phone and was about to call his mother when Mrinal hurriedly pulled his hands.
"What happened?" Subham looked at Mrinal who was lazily nestled in the corner of the sofa.
"Don't you think Maa will know we did that kind of thing since we are going to have a baby?" Mrinal asked innocently.
Subham felt confused but then understood, "Sometimes I wonder whether you are really innocent or pretending to be innocent." Subham shook his head, smiling, and examined Mrinal's facial expressions, seeing that Mrinal really wasn't pretending Subham continued, "Of course, she will know everyone around us will know that we have done it. Think about it while you are walking on the street and someone sees your belly, how would you face them? Tsk, tsk I think you..."
"Ahhh.....stop talking." Mrinal interrupted Subham's words and threw a pillow at his face demanding with his eyes to shut up.
"Okay I won't tease you anymore, you know it's normal nobody will say 'So, you had sex to get a baby' Everyone knows and doesn't have much thought on this so don't worry about it," Subham assured Mrinal as he put the pillow behind Mrinal's back.
"I'm not worried, just a little shy." Mrinal's last words were like that of a mosquito whisper.
Subham informed his mother, Mrinal's grandmother, and decided to tell his friends after the first three months passed according to his mother's wishes.
The next morning Subham went to his company as usual, while promising Mrinal, "I'll be back early after that we will go for a walk. Take care of yourself and call me immediately if you need anything, understand?"
"Okay, I got it. Be back early." Mrinal waved his hands after being kissed by Subham.
In the office, Subham deals with his work as fast as he can, and by the time it is evening all of his work is finished.
Subham stretched his body while sitting on the chair and looked outside the window. There was still time before dusk and the sun in the sky looked unfamiliarly dazzling.
Subham looked at the sun for a long time feeling that something wasn't right, as if he was about to lose something. At the same time, he felt that his body felt very light as if being hollowed out from the inside. Subham rested his head on the back of the chair and closed his eyes.
Subham woke up amidst the sound of machines beeping and people's murmur.
Subham opened his eyes, and looked at the white ceiling, feeling weak and heavy-headed, looking around at the people wearing white lab coats he slowly came back to his senses.
A man in his forties came up to him and said, "Leader, the experiment seems successful, how do you feel?"
Subham slowly sat up and looked at the wires and equipment connected to his body and replied, "It's half-successful You can't possibly travel that distance with the current standard of the human body."
After studying the mental images flashing on the screen Subham asked, "Did you find the location? It seems to be interrupted in the middle. It's better to use human consciousness as the medium of transition mode otherwise death is inevitable."
After searching for habitable planets around the galaxy, humans had already exhausted almost all of their ideas until they thought of this process, it was joint research with other countries. However, Subham didn't expect to travel to a world so similar to his own rather than the distant planet they had determined at the beginning.
"Then we will proceed to the next stage of the experiment after evaluating your feedback." the man spoke as a few more people poured into the sealed room and started studying the mental image.
