"Are you sure you want to go?" Subham asked Mrinal again.
Mrinal squinted his eyes and replied in a sarcastic tone, "I'm not sure but what if I insist on going?"
Subham's friend stepped back, giving them their space while distancing themselves from witnessing their brother's tragic state.
Subham suppressed a smile and said, "I'm not trying to annoy you, but I don't want you to feel inconvenienced during the wedding."
"Are you afraid of me causing trouble, now?" Mrinal felt annoyed for no reason.
"How could that be? You know the hospital over there won't have our attending doctor." Subham explained he shouldn't provoke Mrinal at this time.
Mrinal thought carefully and mumbled, "I'm sorry."
Subham instantly came closer to Mrinal, held his shoulder, and comforted him, "It's not your fault, I'm not mad at you so don't apologize."
Only Subham knew that Mrinal was having mood swings occasionally, Mrinal never lost his temper with anyone else except him. It's not even his pregnancy mood swings, more like he is blaming him sometimes for not being with him during tough times.
If Mrinal grandmother hadn't come to take care of him, Mrinal would have been in a dire physical and psychological state.
"Ahem...we would have to board the plane soon." Devdutta reminded him from the side.
"Let's go." Subham agreed and walked ahead with Mrinal, Annand, Kartik, Devdutta, and his wife Mitali following behind.
They reached Jiddogad, Raghav's hometown, after 3 hours in total.
Raghav came out to meet them, and hugged Subham enthusiastically, "Finally seeing you alive I feel relieved, and congratulations to you and Mrinal."
"I can see that, thank you." Subham laughed heartily, Raghav postponed his wedding because of him, he knew how important this friendship was,
"Everyone, let's go in." Raghav led them in and asked Kartik, "Where's my sister-in-law."
"Probably with her boyfriend," Kartik replied, looking unbothered.
Raghav almost lost his footing, Annand was shocked, "Didn't you say she is home?"
"She is home, with her boyfriend," Kartik replied without thinking.
Mrinal couldn't help saying, "You guys are progressive, I thought it was possible only in foreign countries."
"Mimi, you misunderstood him." Subham clasped the back of Mrinal's neck.
"Huh? How?" Everyone else was equally confused.
"Uh let me explain it to you, we are divorced that's why," Kartik explained.
"Oh..." Everyone nodded their head very understandingly and didn't bring up that matter.
"You guys freshen up first and then we will have dinner." Raghav showed everyone their rooms and left after being called by someone.
Mrinal looked around the room feeling rather energetic, Raghav's family house was a big haveli and their room also was decorated vibrantly and with a touch of grandeur.
"Do you want to take a shower?" Subham asked Mrinal who was as busy as a bee looking around the room.
"Okay." Mrinal agreed.
"Sit here." Subham spread a big towel on the bed and motioned Mrinal to sit on the bed.
Mrinal who was used to this took off his clothes and lay down on the towel, "Is it necessary to do it every day?"
