43. Check up

Raghav and Divyanshu's wedding can be summarized with a few words like extravagant, royal, and luxurious. Subham and Mrinal watched Raghav riding a horse for the first time since wedding rules vary in different castes.

Reception can be described as too many people, fortunately, the reception area could accommodate all of them.

Subham and Mrinal returned home on the night of Raghav's reception party because Subham had a business-related matter to deal with the very next day.

After they reached home, Subham talked with Mrinal's grandmother and told her that his mother would be there with them until he returned home and left for five days.

Before falling into a coma Subham had already started preparation for opening the branches in three different countries and after waking up he rushed to take care of the matter as soon as possible.

There wasn't any problem but for the legal procedure, he had to be there for a few days, for five days straight he flew from one country to another and returned home on the evening of the sixth day.

When Subham returned home he found Mrinal, his grandmother, his mother, and Anu playing Pasha in the living room.

"Husband, you are back!" Mrinal got up from the sofa the moment he saw him.

"Did your work go well?" Miss Sudha asked Subham.

Subham walked towards them and he replied, "Yes the work went well." Subham turned to look at Mrinal and replied, "I'm back."

"Why are you guys gathered here?" Subham asked knowingly.

"You are playing the game, come and join us if you are not tired." Miss Sudha spoke as she picked up Anu onto her lap.

"Wait for me to change my clothes." Subham readily agreed, it's impossible not to be tired but since everyone is here it will be a waste not to join them.

Subham changed his clothes and sat down to play the game with them.

When it was Subham's time to roll the dice, Anu quickly added, "My turn!"

"Yes, yes it's your turn." Subham agreed and let Anu play a few turns while he played a few turns.

The result of sharing turns with Anu was that he and Anu lost the game.

"Since you lost the game you have to be punished." Mrinal's grandmother laughed kindly as she reminded all of them.

"That's right, how would you like to get punished, my son?" Miss Sudha enjoyed it even more.

Subham accepted his fate and said, "What punishment do you have for me?"

Mrinal became excited and said, "I know! I know how to punish you."

Mrinal smiled slyly as he told him about the punishment.

A few minutes later Subham stood outside of their home while Mrinal and others waved their hands encouraging him to go forward.

Subham went ahead, heard tiny footsteps, and turned to look at Anu who was following him, "Go back."

"Brother, together. Punished." Anu conveyed her intention with a broken sentence.

Subham understood her and walked forward, soon they reached in front of the bungalow a few meters away from their home.

This bungalow area has security all around them, so few people like him have their bodyguards. This bungalow didn't have any bodyguards thankfully.

Subham picked up Anu and held her in front of the doorbell, fearlessly Anu pressed the doorbell once, Subham continuously pressed the doorbell and ran back to their home at the fastest speed possible while holding a child.
