"Hey, grams it's me.  How are you feeling?" I ask carefully, choosing my words.

"Not that good, sugar. The insurance isn't paying for my prescription anymore, so I'm in quite a bit of pain." My grandmother said it painfully.

"I'm sorry, grams. I should be able to help tomorrow use my card."

"Oh, honey, I know you don't get paid much as is. You don't have to do that." My grandmother said it pridefully.

"I insist on using my card in your wallet. Grams, I gotta go. I love you to the moon and beyond." I said quickly, seeing Alexander.

I handed the phone back.

I delete the phone call and hand the phone back.

"Thank you again," I say before getting up, scraping my food in the trash, and turning the water on to wash my plate.

"All'inizio non ero convinto, ma tua moglie, che mi odia, mi ha semplicemente ringraziato due volte e mi ha abbracciato."

I hear the guy I asked for his phone.

{I was unconvinced at first, but your wife, who hates me, just thanked me twice and hugged me.}

Alexander cleared his throat. "What are you doing?" His voice startled me, causing me to jump.

"Just wishing the dishes ?" I said I was not looking at him.

"I miei contatti mi hanno appena inviato alcune informazioni interessanti. La nostra ipotesi che non sia tua moglie potrebbe essere giusta. Sembra che tua moglie abbia una gemella."

{My contacts just sent over some intriguing information. Our hypothesis that she isn't your wife might be just right. It seems as though your wife has a twin. } The other voice said

The fact that all these men spoke English and were blatantly using a language I didn't understand bothered me.

He simply nods at his statement.

"Well. I understand you want to wash dishes, but the problem I have with you right now is that you threw all your food away." He says to me

"Well, you added more than I wanted," I say, still washing the dishes.

"But you didn't even eat half the amount you had on your plate initially." He says he is looking at me with his arms crossed.

My stomach was in knots; there wasn't any way my anxiety was crippling.

"I am just not hungry. I'm just feeling a bit under the weather." I was thinking of something that would explain the lack of intimacy as well.

"Humm," he says, walking over to me and placing his palm on my forehead. I move my head away. Frightened.

"You don't feel warm. Why don't you lay down?" He says

"I will once I'm done with these dishes." I am continually washing the dishes.

Before the water was shut off.

"Let me rephrase. Go lay down." He says he is crossing his arms.

I scoffed and turned the water back on.

"I said I would once I was done with these dishes."

"Oh, mia parola, ti ha davvero sfidato? Nonho mai visto nessuno farlo prima, one of the guys says.

{Oh my word, did she just defy you? I've never seen anyone do that before}

He turns off the water again before whispering in my ear.

"Go lay down. I'll have the maids finish the dishes. If I have to ask you again, I'll bend you over my knee, Emily." I drop the dish as I scurry off before my shoulder is grabbed.

"Kiss me, Emily," he smirked.

I don't want to kiss him. Certainly not after he just threatened me.

"As I already mentioned, I don't feel good," I say, trying to pull away.

"Yeah, Alexander, she doesn't feel good," the guy whose phone I borrowed said.

"Butt out of it, Tony. Before you say anything, Harry, that goes for you too."

Now that I know the other two men's names, it helps preserve my fake identity.

"Kiss me, Emily." He says it again.

I make no move to kiss him. He leans in, and I turn my head. He places a kiss on my cheek.

I hear a chuckle.

Tony says, "Sì, sicuramente non è tua moglie. Nonho mai visto nessuno evitare di toccarti come se avessi la peste."

{yeah, that's not your wife. I have never seen anyone avoid touching you like you have the plague}

Before I could make a move to get away, he grabbed my chin roughly and placed his lips hungrily upon mine.

I push him away. Before running away.

What the hell just happened? My sister's husband just fucking kissed me. I walked around looking for the room that had my bags. Finally finding it, I open my bag and get my book out. Closing the bag. I walk around until I see a patio outside. I walk outside and sit on the patio furniture as I open one of my books.

"I thought I told you to go lay down." Alexander is looking at me with crossed arms.

"I will once I'm done with this chapter," I said, looking back down at my book quickly.

I hear his feet shuffling before he takes the book from my hands and my bookmark, placing it inside the book where I was.

"No, I asked you to lay down, and if you don't feel good, you don't need to be outside in the cold."

He is practically dragging me inside with my hand.

Taking me up to the room, "our room,"

Here, I'll put your clothes up so you can lie down.

He says he is handing me the book again, gesturing to the bed.

He opens up my bag.

"Honey, did you grab someone else's clothes or go to the thrift store or something?"He asks me as he looks at my worn clothes.

I gulp. "Yeah, I went to the thrift store," I try to say convincingly.

"Well, I'll take you shopping for some new clothes tomorrow."
He says this as he shoves my clothes into the drawer.

"That's not necessarily true; I have clothes. Thanks though."I say it with a small smile.

"I wasn't asking; I was telling you. We are going to get you more clothes." He says, looking at me.

"Well, I won't wear them, so don't bother," I say, snapping; he's not getting the hint.

"Well, I guess I'll just have to throw away your old clothes you brought then, huh?" He says it angrily before walking out the door and slamming it shut.
