chapter 12 does keefe know?

                                        Keefe's POV
Sophie fist bumped him. Then he felt it. He felt so of the emotions in the room but what stood out the most was Sophie's emotions. It was like a bomb compared to everyone else. He felt loneliness, anger, sadness, love, embarrassment, happiness.

He held onto the thought of love. He had a suspicion Sophie liked him, but this was the confirmation he needed. Sophie loves me, she truly loves me. Not Fitz, me. It was the last thing he thought as he blacked out.

                                     Sophie's POV

"Welcome back." Elwin said, placing a cool compress across her forehead. Sophie tried to sit up, wincing as pain shot through every muscle.

"Easy there, you've been out almost an hour and a half. You both lost a lot of blood." Elwin flashed an orb of yellow light around her and put on his glasses.

Her memories flooded back. Biana told her not to go easy on him, so she had. It was much worse than last time because she was stronger now.

Fitz's eyes spent open. "WhermIwhahapped?"he mumbled, closing his eyes. She looked over and saw keefe laying on the cot next to hers. "So you now what caused him to pass out?"

Elwin shook his head. "He's perfectly fine. He was probably just doing it to get attention." Elwin chuckled.

Fitz stirred, and he opened his eyes. "How are you feeling?" Elwin asked him. "I've been better, but I'll live." Fitz winced as he sat up.

"Are you ok?" He asked Sophie. "Yeah, I'm fine." Sophie took a second to turn off her enhancing before anyone noticed, sometimes her enhancing would also turn on at random moments, so she had to constantly check on it.

Elwin handed them each a blue vial. "This will ease the pain. You'll be said tomorrow, but I can't help that."

"Do either of you remember what happened?" Elwin asked as he collected the empty bottles.

"Not really."Fitz admitted. "I remember pushing toward the splotched, but then it was like it rebounded or something."

"Rebounded?"

"Yeah. I felt my force hit her and voice back at me."

Sophie was trying to make the right move. She decided to tell the truth. "It was a brain push."

Elwin froze for a second, but started pacing. "How do you even know what a brain push is?"

"Because that's what I did. I did a brain push."

Elwin sighed. "Well, I guess I shouldn't be surprised."

Someone knocked on the door. Biana rushed into the room. "Hey, Elwin. Can Sophie and I have some privacy?"

"Alright. I'll give you five minutes." Elwin rolled Fitz's cot into his office.

"That was crazy traumatizing Sophie. Y'all's blood splattered on the walls. Sir Caton had to carry three body's to the healing center. When I said don't go easy on him i meant don't lose. That was amazing though. You're so strong. Girl power! Did you find out why Keefe passed out?"

"No, but I think it had something to do with my enhancing." She sucked in a sharp breath. "What if he knows."

"Know what, that you like him? Don't worry about it." "Not that. What if he knows I've been lying to everyone? What if he finds out we're not the same?"

                                      Keefe POV

After keefe woke up, he tried not to move. That had consequences though. He heard that Sophie brain pushed. He heard everything her and Sophie were talking about. Sophie was an enhancer. They had been lying to everyone. Biana also knew Sophie liked him. He stayed still to continue listening.

"I can't be around him anymore. I know more about him than he knows about himself. What if he finds out about his mother?" Keefe's heart stopped. What's wrong with my mother?

"We can talk more tomorrow, Biana. Today I'll be spending a little more time with Amy."

Who's Amy? Keefe wondered. He hadn't met her yet.
