A/n this will probably be edited because it's messy, but I felt like I needed to post since it's been 6 days. Please comment on things I should fix. I have also been working on their future if I don't end the series soon there will be more chapters about life after kids. Every now and then I won't post for a couple days though, but please don't stop reading if I stop posting, I will not stop until I finish because I don't want to leave you on a neverending cliffhanger. I talk too much, sorry😅
"Everyone ready for midterms?" Dame Alina's projection chirped. "Your thinking caps are in your lockers, and remember, anyone found without one for the rest of the day will be disqualified for cheating-is the clear?" She waited until everyone nodded. "Good. Have fun with midterms."
Sophie put her cap on and headed for lunch, she did some last minute studying before she headed over to alchemy.
Lady Galvin was still setting up when she entered the room. Lady Gavin looked at Sophie. "You must profit the iron key using only ruckleberries. You have fifty five minutes. I suggest you get started.
Sophie nodded and sat down. She did better than last time, but she had only filled four fifths of the key and she got some juice on her pinky again.
When she finished the rest of her classes, she headed back to the atrium. Dex was waiting for her by the lockers. "How'd it go?"
"Better than last time, but alchemy is still my worst class." Dex grinned. "I guess you'll never be good at alchemy. Alchemy is my 2nd best class in school, number one is technopathy."

Grady and Edaline took Sophie and Amy to Atlantis. They had been with the elves for three months now. The Neverseen would strike eventually after Sophie wouldn't be in the cave when they tried to kidnap her.
Grady squeezed her shoulder when he caught her tugging out an eyelash. "Try to stop stressing, Sophie. We're here to have fun, not worry about grades." That would've been more reassuring if she were thinking about grades. She wasn't though, she was thinking about when the Neverseen would strike next.

Foxfire was almost unrecognizable. The silver streamers wrapped around everything, confetti and flowers on the floor, and giant bubbles filled with prizes floating through the halls.
Grady and Edaline went straight to Sophie's classes for their first mentor appointment, overwhelmed by the crowd, they left Amy with Sophie.
Sophie grabbed Amy's hand and headed over to the Level Four wing to drop off Fitz and Keefe's gifts. "Are we going to see your boyfriends?" Amy asked, smirking.
Sophie rolled her eyes. "I already told you, in the future, Fitz is my ex and Keefe and I aren't dating since I traveled back in time. Who knows, maybe he won't like me anymore."
Amy frowned. "If he doesn't still love you, he'd be a fool. You're awesome. Don't worry, if he doesn't love you I'll kick his butt." Amy said it with confidence, but Sophie wasn't as confident.
The girls in the hallway kept glaring at Sophie as she dropped the gifts in the thinking caps. She ran straight back to her level's wing, but she accidentally plowed straight into Tiergan.
"Sorry." She exclaimed as he struggled to regain his balance.
"Sophie!" He glanced around, thin lines stretched across his brow. "What are you doing here?"
"I just came to drop off some gifts."
"Well, well, well do we have here?"
Sophie turned around, with anger and annoyance obvious on her face. "This must be the girl who was raised by humans," he said. "how curious to find her in the Level Four wing, talking to Foxfire's most infamous mentor."
