August 31st, 1995It was the last day of the holiday, and Harry was obviously trying to take advantage of the fact that it could be their last time in a space to themselves for months because it was still before noon and his hands were already freely exploring beneath Jupiter's (Harry's) t-shirt as he attached himself on top of her.
After several weeks of Jupiter berating Harry for leaving extremely obvious bruises on her neck, they had come to an agreement that he could only do it in places that couldn't be as easily seen.
Jupiter lay back against the pillows, a soft smile playing on her lips as Harry's fingers traced lazy patterns on her skin. The morning sunlight streamed through the curtains, casting a warm glow over the room.
"You're getting bolder," she murmured, her voice tinged with amusement as Harry's lips brushed against her collarbone, where he knew the marks would be hidden.
Harry paused for a moment, his green eyes meeting hers with a mischievous glint. "Well, we did make a deal," he replied, his breath warm against her skin.
Jupiter rolled her eyes, though her heart fluttered at the intensity of his gaze. "Just remember the agreement," she reminded him, though her tone was more teasing than stern.
Harry chuckled softly, his hands continuing their gentle exploration. "I remember," he said, his voice low and affectionate. "I wouldn't want to get on your bad side again."
She laughed softly, her fingers threading through his messy hair. "Good. Because you're already on thin ice for other reasons."
His expression turned more serious as he propped himself up on one elbow, looking down at her with a mix of concern and curiosity. "Still upset with me about the broom thing?" he asked, his thumb brushing gently across her cheek.
Jupiter sighed, her smile fading slightly. "It's not just that," she admitted. "It's everything that's coming. This year at Hogwarts... it feels different."
Harry's brow furrowed slightly, his fingers stilling on her skin. "Different how?"
She hesitated, searching for the right words. "There's this... tension. Like we're on the edge of something big. And I worry about you, Harry."
"You don't need to worry about me, Jo," he smiled lightly. "It's not like I ever get into trouble or anything."
"Shut up, Potter," Jupiter said, fighting back a smile as she gently ran a hand through his hair again. She could never get tired of that feeling. "You're really stupid, you know."
"I'll always be stupid around you," he said before kissing her softly. She felt goosebumps surge over her skin at the way he smiled into the kiss. Harry and Jupiter had kissed plenty of times over their relationship, yet every time she still felt herself get butterflies. With Harry, it never got boring or predictable.
"Jove!" A loud voice rang out from the hallway, causing both of them to jump and stare at the door. After her dad's unintentional barge-in, Jupiter had convinced Remus to place a charm on it since she was still underage. Thankfully, it worked beautifully, and nobody could storm in unless she let them. The only exception was Harry whenever he came in at night, and she wouldn't realize it until he collapsed next to her on her bed. She supposed she needed to thank Remus again for that small addition, but perhaps not while he was next to her dad.
"Hogwarts letters are here!" Ron yelled, knocking on the door. "Stop snogging and get out here!"
"Er- one minute!" Jupiter called, scrambling off the bed and pushing Harry as she moved past him.
