"How come you didn't do it last night?" Harry asked Ron, who was frantically searching the Great Hall for inspiration for his dream diary."I was doing other stuff," Ron muttered as he quickly scribbled something in his diary. He shot Hermione a glare as she snickered to herself. "That'll have to do," he said, slamming the diary shut, "I've said I dreamed I was buying a new pair of shoes, Trelawney can't make anything weird out of that, can she?"
"You'd be surprised," Jupiter snickered as she copied her drawing of a bow-truckle onto Harry's paper. She had offered to complete all of his homework while he had detention, and in return, all Jupiter asked was that he fill out her diary for her. "What'd you put in mine?"
"You had a dream about an extremely handsome boy in your year," Harry shrugged, reaching in his bag and handing her the diary. "It was quite vivid, actually."
"You didn't," Jupiter gawked, quickly opening the pages. She rolled her eyes and let out a large sigh as she realized he, infact, was not lying. "Well, you might as well be honest and clarify that it was about Will Noland then."
Harry pushed her head away. "Not funny," he said, pursing his lips at her.
"I'm obviously joking," she smiled, standing up from the bench and kissing the top of his head. "It was about Dean Thomas."
"Just for that, I'm not carrying your bag," Harry said, purposefully leaving her bag on the bench next to him as he and Ron stood up to head off to Divination.
"Suit yourself," Jupiter shrugged with a grin, slinging her bag over her shoulder. "But don't come crying to me when you forget your quill for the fifth time this week."
"Won't need to, I've got spares," Harry shot back, but there was a playful note in his voice that softened the mock annoyance. Ron, still fumbling with his own belongings, gave a short laugh as he struggled to shove his dream diary into his already overstuffed bag.
"Honestly, Ron, you're going to have to start writing these things down as soon as you wake up," Hermione said, falling into step beside them as they left the Great Hall. Unlike the three of them, Hermione had decided to take Arithmancy instead of Divination, so she was just tagging along until they passed her class. "Trelawney might actually be right about your 'fuzzy aura' if you keep this up."
Ron rolled his eyes, though there was no real heat in it. "I'll take my chances, thanks. It's not like she's going to predict anything useful anyway."
Jupiter chuckled as she walked beside Harry, his arm casually strung over her shoulders. "Trelawney's going to take one look at all of our dream diaries and claim we've all got impending doom hanging over our heads. You might as well have some fun with it."
"I should've said I was dreaming about doing something really outrageous," Harry mused. "Like riding a dragon across the Forbidden Forest or... I dunno, dancing with a Hippogriff."
"Careful," Hermione warned with a smirk, "Trelawney might just think that means you're destined for an 'untimely fall' from a great height."
Jupiter snorted. "Better than Ron's 'dream'
about shoes.""Hey!" Ron protested. "It was practical. At least I won't be accused of having some grand prophecy hanging over me."
