Kuoh Academy

The brothers were inside their classroom, the SC members Momo and Tsubaki had entered and asked for Y/n. The other three were curious as to why. Y/n had asked if there's a problem, to which Tsubaki responded that there's no problem, but to come to the SC office with them for another important matter. Y/n accepted their request and told his brothers that he'll arrive later.

While walking to the SC office with the two members, Y/n wondered what's the important matter.

'Maybe they want more information about the Predator?' Y/n thought to himself. Even though he's the one they were talking about. But it's not their fault that they're curious about it, in the first place.

Y/n had left his thoughts, as he, Momo, and Tsubaki reached the SC office. They entered the room. Sona in her seat and other members across the room.

"Y/n, I'm glad that you came here, today." Sona said as she fixed her glasses.

"Well, Tsubaki did say, it's another important matter. So what's it about?" Y/n replied.

Sona was about to answer, but her face turned a light red. Y/n saw this and was confused.

"Is there something you need to tell me, Sona?" Y/n asked hoping to get an answer from her.

"It's about the aftermath of the chess match we had." Sona answered, she was still red.

"Oh yesterday's match? Why? What's that gotta do with what's going on?" Y/n asked as he raised an eyebrow.

"You see, Y/n. Whoever defeats me in chess, is considered my fiance." Sona said with her face turning bright red. Truth be told she did have a crush on him. She wanted to have a chess game before, but he was busy helping other students with certain subjects.

'Huh?' Y/n thought confused. He kept a blank face to prevent the confusion from showing.

"I apologize, Sona. I was listening to my own thoughts. You said, "whoever defeats you in chess, is considered your fiance?"" Y/n asked her, while scratching his ear.

She nods and fixes her glasses again. Y/n wasn't expecting such an answer.

"Sona, I don't mean to be rude, but is this a joke? A simple game of truth or dare from one of the members here? Or is this the real deal?" Y/n questioned as he looked around the room. The members of the SC shook their heads. He then looked back at Sona.

"It's the latter, Y/n." Sona answered.

Y/n doesn't know what to say next. He's
doesn't think about finding himself a fiance, while barely in second year of high school. Not to mention, all for winning a game of chess. It took him by surprise.

"Ok. Who set it up? Y/n said with a straight face.

Sona can feel and hear a hint of anger from him. But she decided to keep it to herself. She doesn't know what Y/n would do if she answered correctly, but she did regardless.

"My family were forced to make the decision for an arranged marriage, but I added one condition that unless a man had defeated/outsmarted me in a game of chess, he'd become my fiance. They accepted my condition." Sona answered. Y/n accepted her answer and nodded after hearing the sincerity from her voice.

"Oh ok, I understand and that condition is well played. However, I can't accept it." Y/n blatantly said while nodding and calmed down.

This took the SC by surprise. They whispered to each other and weren't expecting Y/n's sudden statement.

"What, why?" Sona asked him.

"To tell you the truth, I don't recognize nor accept arranged marriages. Like how does that kind of marriage work if the couple never knew each other? I refuse to enforce that concept." Y/n answered.
