As I sat patiently waiting for my number to be called in the hospital, I took a few minutes to scroll through some TikToks

"Number 304!"

I heard my number called

"Coming !"

I hastily took up my belongings and went inside the hospital room

"Good morning Mrs Whyte."

"Oh it's you again !"

I smiled at him warmly as I placed down my handbag on the sofa next to his desk

"Good morning doctor ?"

He touched his name tag and said

"Doctor Reid."

I chuckled

"Sorry... didn't get your name the last time"

"My apologies I didn't get to introduced myself properly but anyways how are the two little ones ?"

I rolled my eyes

"Not so good.. been having morning sickness each time of the day and bwoii my face has been breaking out a lot."

He smiled

"Well those are the normal symptoms of pregnancy I guess you'll get used to it in the near future"

"Get used to it ? I want it over with.."

Going into one of his drawers from his desk, he took out a flyer which he then handed it to me

"Here! This will help you understand more about your body and help you cope with any frustrations your having while being pregnant"

I read the flyer and realized that it was a pregnancy lesson class for first time parents

"Umm... so I'm supposed to go to this class"

"If you want, it would help you alot with the struggles of postpartum depression. I advice you to go for at least a week at this class"

"But it says both parents of the child?"

"Yes ? Your married so what seems to be the issue ?"

"See the thing is doctor Reid, me and my husband aren't really on a steady road at this point and he doesn't even know that I'm pregnant"

"What why not tell him ?"

"I believe dat yuh did see the argument dat did tek place with me and him the last time I was here"

He nodded

"Oh I almost forgot, suh unu divorced now ? And him nuh know seh yuh pregnant !"

I nodded
