At the hospital, I sat down impatiently waiting for a news from the surgeons but heard no one
"Zuri !!"
I heard aunty Suzan yelled
I looked across the hallway and saw her rushing towards me along with Paige by her side
"Aunty"
I yelled as she embraced me
"Wah dem seh ? Him ago mek it ?"
I wiped the tears that were coming down my cheeks
"A all my fault me shouldn't have push him button like dat !! See it deh him not even ago get fi meet him youth dem ...."
"Zuri nuh seh dat we nuh sure if him dead suh stop say that"
Paige said as she comforted me but I just cried even harder
"A swear me cah do this without him!!! Me love him too much fi him gone out a me life like that..."
I cried out
"Paige guh and buy one bottle a water and come give har..."
Aunty Suzan said as she came and made me sat down next to her.
The doctor then came out of the ER and approached us, I sprang up and wiped up my tears to greet him
"Doc how is he ?"I asked as cleared my throat
The doctor then sighed and looked at Aunty Suzan then at me
"A wah...?please don't tell me seh him gone..."
"Mrs. Whyte your husband seems to be ina very serious condition, we did a few surgeries on him and he's in a coma as we speak"
"Suh dat me seh him alive"
He nodded
"Yes... you can see him in room 203"
I quickly ran towards the room without even waiting on Aunty Suzan.
