After getting back to the villa, I was greeted by Aunt Suzan.

"Zuri, yuh finally reach," she said, walking out from the kitchen. The aroma of freshly cooked food filled the air, making it obvious she had been cooking.

"Yeah... som'n happen?" I asked.

Before she could answer, the twins' loud cries echoed through the house.

"Dem won't stop bawl. Seem like di milk weh yuh lef' couldn't wull dem."

I chuckled. "Figured. Remember seh a two mi have now, not one."

"Me ago tek a shower real quick before me snuggle wid dem," I added.

She nodded and turned her attention back to the babies.

"By di way—share out some a di food gimme before, please," I called out from upstairs. "Mi really hungry."

"Sure! It nah guh be too hot by di time yuh come dung."

Once I got to the bathroom, I quickly stripped and showered. The twins' constant crying in the background was starting to get to me, so I didn't take long. As soon as I was done, I headed back downstairs.

"Alright, mommy deh yah now! Unu can stop bawl!"

Aunt Suzan had already placed a plate of food on the table. I settled down with the twins, letting them latch onto my breasts.

The food looked amazing. She'd always had a passion for cooking, and I was genuinely grateful she was here to help.

The twins finally calmed down, cooing gently in my ears.

"So... how you and Christopher? Unu talk since everything?" she asked carefully.

I cleared my throat, taking a bite of food. "Umm... mi try fi keep him far. Mi nuh talk to him."

The room went silent for a bit until she finally responded.

"Mi deh pon yuh side, yuh know dat... but don't put di twins dem inna dis."

The silence grew heavier.
