chp.7. The Storm

I woke up the next morning incredibly tired. I wanted to go back to sleep but when I shifted I felt that there was something wrapped around chest under my arms. I looked down to see the someone was holding me from behind,what had happened that had led to this!? I tried to think back. I had been sitting on a rock in the woods, Ling Hua had found me and sat next to me,we talked and when he asked why is was there....

" HOLY SHIT!! THE GENERAL IS HOLDING ME!!" I screamed in my mind

I tensed remembering everything that had happened that night. I'm an idiot, if I had controlled myself this wouldn't have happened. Why did I cry to begin with? Why did he hug me? Why did I fall asleep? We could never be that close. I felt the Ling Hua shift beside me. He was waking up.FUUUUUUUUUUCK!

Ling Hua's P.O.V

I opened my eyes expecting to see the faint light from rising sun through the walls of the tent but all I saw was a mass of black with hints of gray and the color of slightly tanned pale skin. I realized I was holding someone who was obviously awake considering they were so tense. I thought about who it could be, Qu Qian!? Shit this was not supposed to happen! But I wasn't complaining his hair was soft and he was warm and small. It was like holding a large cat. I remembered the situation and instantly let go of him, my hands flying away from his waist. He jolted up as if he was waiting for me to let go.

"I APOLOGIZE GENERAL, IT WAS NOT MY INTENTION FOR THIS TO HAPPEN! PLEASE FORGIVE ME FOR CRYING AS WELL!" Qu Qian began profusely apologizing even going as far as to kowtow².

"Whoa whoa, Qu Qian, it's fine. It was my fault," I gave him a soft smile, he looked up at me and sat up. I'll never get over how cute his eyes are, so sparkle-y and beautiful.

"How could it be your fault?" He asked tilting his head.

"Well, uhh, you passed out after crying so I had to carry you back and when I went to put put you on your bed it was such an awkward position and I was so tired I just carried you back to mine and had us both sleep there," I explained apologetically and my smiled disappeared when I saw his horrified expression.

"Oh, I understand, thank you for explaining general," He mumbled softly, he looked quite red. It was cute.

A few months later admist a hurricane/Typhoon

The troops have made lots of progress, which is good because everything is getting blown away! We saved most of our stuff but we've lost a few tents, how exhausting. All the troops were sent to an overhang of the hill the hid the camp from the citizens of the nearby city that could be wandering. Which made no fucking since they would obviously hear us.

"Gege! We got everything now!" Xuan Xiu screamed to me over the wind, beckoning for me to follow him to the overhang.

I ran with him through to harsh rain and puddles. We made it to the over hang just as lightning struck an area near the camp. A shiver went down my spine as I heard the crack, that could have been me struck.

Hey, so I really hate this chapter and I've been like really unmotivated since I really pissed at my ex and schools starting soon and my school seriously socks too the point that I've cried at the fact I have to go back(crazy that I used to love school😋) I may not update for a while, so to the few people that read this I hope hope you've enjoyed so far and I'm sorry that I won't be updating as often now.
