Pavel asked Prim to sit down below the couch. He took a comb and started combing her hair slowly.
"Papa, I want a ribbon," little Prim said with big puppy eyes that Pavel could never ignore.
"Okay," Pavel replied, slowly combing and taking pins to decorate Prim's hair. As he worked, he felt a pair of eyes on him. He looked up to see Pooh, busy taking pictures of them. Pavel blushed a little but kept combing Prim's hair.
"Okay, done," Pavel said, handing a little mirror to Prim. She squealed happily, which made Pavel chuckle. "Okay, let's go to your nursery," Pavel said, adjusting Prim's dress.
"Uncle Pooh!" Prim ran to Pooh with grabby hands, asking to be lifted. Pooh, with a fond smile on his face, lifted little Prim up.
"Am I pretty?" Prim asked.
"Very much, princess," Pooh said, giving a soft kiss on Prim's chubby cheeks. Then he pointed to his cheeks, and Prim gave him a little kiss in return. They laughed and bonded, and Pavel watched them lovingly. Prim's mother never showered her with love, and seeing Prim so happy with Pooh filled Pavel's heart with joy.
"Let's get you to nursery school," Pavel said, joining them. He took Prim's hand while Pooh carried her bag, and they all walked to the door.
As they reached the nursery, Prim turned to Pooh and Pavel. "I love you, Papa and Uncle Pooh," she said, hugging them both tightly.
"We love you too, Prim," they replied in unison, their hearts full of warmth and affection.
.
.
After dropping Prim off at her nursery, Pavel and Pooh returned to Pavel's condo. The car ride was silent, filled with an unspoken connection between them. Once they entered the condo, Pooh waited for Pavel to close the door before pulling him into a backhug. Pavel yelped in surprise.
"Ya... what are you doing?" Pavel asked, trying to sound annoyed but failing to hide his smile.
"What? Nothing. Today's our holiday, and I'm just resting," Pooh replied nonchalantly.
Pavel rolled his eyes with a soft smile on his face.
Pooh began whispering lyrics, "I only love you in the middle of the night. That's when you're on my mind. Every time I get the feeling I can't fight. And I know it just ain't right."
Pavel said, "Stop, it's so cheesy," but Pooh continued singing, hugging Pavel tighter. Pavel arched his back, letting out soft giggles as Pooh sang:
"Al borde de perderte otra vez
Ahora que estás tan dentro de mi piel
No sé qué puedo hacer si estás con él
But for now, we just pretend."
"You know Spanish?" Pavel asked, turning his head to lock eyes with Pooh.
"Sí, baby, anything for you," Pooh replied, lifting Pavel off the ground.
Pavel screamed, "Put me down!" but laughed as Pooh carried him to the sofa and jumped over him.
They landed in a heap on the sofa, both laughing and catching their breath. Pooh looked down at Pavel, his eyes filled with adoration. "You make me so happy," he said softly.
Pavel reached up, cupping Pooh's face. "Aww..I'm happy to hear that"
As Pooh leaned in Pavel licked his lips and wrapped his arms around Pooh's neck sharing a tender kiss, the world outside forgotten for a moment. Their connection felt unbreakable, a deep bond forged through love, trust, and shared moments.
Pavel broke the kiss, smiling up at Pooh. "So, what do you want to do today, Mr. 'I'm just resting'?"
Pooh grinned. "How about we just stay like this for a while? Just you and me, no distractions."
Pavel nodded. "I like that idea."
They settled into a comfortable embrace, enjoying the quiet intimacy of the moment. The world could wait; for now, it was just them, together, exactly where they wanted to be.
