CHARLIE

Once we got our flights booked, we started to pack. I went to my place to grab some clothes then headed back to the main house. Laura was upstairs so I headed up and tried some outfits in-front of her. Half way through, I notice her mind wondering to somewhere else.

"What?"

"Your outfit."

"What about it?"

"You look too good. Remember we're seeing my grandparents, not going to fashion week in Milan."

I'm literally just wearing a khaki shirt, completely unbuttoned with creme shorts. Taking my clothes off, I'm left in my underwear again. My phone rings, but it's next to Laura. She picks it up and rolls her eyes. "If you keep doing that, your eye balls may fall out."

"It's Stefani."

"Ignore it."

Then we hear a ping from a text message. Laura looks down at the phone and connects her brows with some kind of emotion written on her face. "David, your cousin, has texted you saying he knows what you did with Stefani. He wants to talk...So Charlie, what happened with Stefani?"

Now I'm pissed off, "Are you seriously not going to trust me right now? I told you the truth. Nothing happened, all she did was kiss me like I told you. But then I left."

She walks off and I don't follow her, instead I pack the rest of my clothes and change into sweats. But it's pretty warm so I've taken my shorts off and kept my boxers. Putting on my crocs, I walk downstairs to find Laura in the kitchen. She is sat eating cake and staring at her phone.

One thing I've noticed in this pregnancy, is that when she is annoyed like this, she goes straight to cake to fix her problems. It's a specific one too, vanilla cake with chocolate filling.

Standing behind her, I place a kiss on the back of her head then hug her.

"Can we talk? I thought this whole friend's thing was good with you. Why are you now jealous?"

She turns around then sighs, "Because it's not fine with me you idiot."

"What?"

We hear a knock on the door forcing us to focus on that. Laura opens the door, revealing Cami and Mark. They look at us with smiles but then frown, "Oh this is a bad time isn't it?"

I sigh and walk off while Laura speaks to them. Heading to the garden, Mark follows me. We end up sitting inside the garden house. I still have a secret stash in here but I haven't smoked in a while.

"Is everything okay?"

LAURA

"Is everything okay?"

I shrug, "I've screwed up. I'm the one who has made it clear that we shouldn't date until we sort ourselves. Then she actually decides to take care of herself which I respect deeply. But it's made her into this person I just want to be with twenty four seven. We get along so much more and speak about stuff more easily. But my damn hormones means I'm constantly sexually frustrated or just angry."

Cami chuckles, "You need to speak with her. Clearly she is fine with just friendship from what you can tell, but ask her first. She may tell you something else. Just follow your heart, and do what would be best for you both. Also remember that you are both having a child. You guys need to have a good relationship during that, whether that means you're together or not."
