The next morning, the excitement for our planned girls' day filled the air. We had arrived in Glasgow the previous night, and today was the day we had decided to dedicate to ourselves. I woke up next to Miles in our shared room, the morning light streaming through the curtains.

I stretched and smiled as I felt Miles' arm around me. He was still asleep, his face peaceful and calm. Carefully, I slipped out of bed, trying not to wake him, but he stirred anyway, his eyes fluttering open.

"Morning," he mumbled, his voice thick with sleep.

"Morning," I whispered back, leaning down to kiss him softly. "I have to get ready. It's our girls' day today, remember?"

He groaned playfully, pulling me back onto the bed. "Do you really have to go? Can't you just stay here with me?"

I laughed, gently pushing him away. "I promised the girls, and you know how excited we all are about this."

He sighed dramatically, letting me go. "Fine, but only because I know you'll have a great time. Just promise you'll come back to me."

I smiled, feeling my heart flutter. "Always."

I made my way to the bathroom and started getting ready. I picked out a cute dress I had bought recently, perfect for a day of shopping and exploring. I did my makeup, opting for a natural look with a bit of mascara and a hint of blush. As I was finishing up, Miles appeared in the doorway, leaning against the frame with a lazy smile.

"You look amazing," he said, his eyes scanning me from head to toe.

"Thanks," I replied, feeling a blush creep up my cheeks. "You always know how to make me feel good."

"Well, it's easy when you look like that," he said, stepping forward to wrap his arms around my waist. "But seriously, have fun today. You deserve it."

I kissed him again, lingering a moment before pulling away. "I will. And I'll be back before you know it."

Miles reluctantly let me go, and I grabbed my bag, giving him one last smile before heading out the door. I met up with Kelly, Katie, and Breanna in the lobby, all of us buzzing with excitement.

"Ready for our girls' day?" Kelly asked, her eyes sparkling.

"Absolutely," I said, feeling a surge of happiness as we headed out into the vibrant streets of Glasgow.

We started our day by finding a cozy little café in downtown Glasgow, Montana, drawn in by the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the inviting atmosphere. The café was charming, with rustic wooden furniture and local artwork adorning the walls. It felt like the perfect spot to kick off our girls' day out.

We found a table near the window and ordered our coffees and breakfast. The menu had a delightful mix of pastries and hearty American breakfasts. I went for a latte and a warm croissant, while Kelly, Katie, and Breanna each picked their favorites, ranging from blueberry muffins to a classic bacon and eggs plate.

As we settled into our seats, the conversation flowed naturally, blending with the soft background music and the gentle hum of other patrons chatting.

"So, what's the plan for today?" Kelly asked, taking a sip of her cappuccino.

"I was thinking we could start with some shopping," Breanna suggested. "There's that cute boutique on Main Street I've been wanting to check out."

Katie nodded enthusiastically. "Yes, and I heard there's a fantastic vintage store a few blocks away. They have the best dresses and accessories."

"That sounds perfect," I said, feeling a rush of excitement. "I've been wanting to update my wardrobe a bit, and vintage shopping sounds like so much fun."
