Chapter 5 - One day After

It's Monday again. After I finished my breakfast, I turn off the television and I grab my bag. With my bag that I carries on my side, I lock the door of my apartment's room before I walk to the elevator. I walk just a few steps before I am in front of the elevator's doors. I press the down arrow button and after a few minutes, the doors are open. I get into the elevator and I press the floor 1 button.

Last weeks has been quite a trainwreck. Mr. Charles is dead. Well, whatever it is, I should just try and make use of the situation. There's also the arrest of Raiden Ryoma.

I sigh, well there's not much that I can do. It's not like I would be affected by this news or anything. The door of the elevator opens up. I walk out of the apartment and I just walk for a few minutes to the academy.

I look at the sky. "It's quite cloudy today." I muttered with a low voice. I should've brings an umbrella, wait, have I?

I check my bag. Yep, there it is. I close my bag as I keep walking.

I keep walking, and walking. After a while, I arrived at the school grounds. Students are also coming in.

As I walk into the school's building, I overheard some students that are talking about something.

"Hey, have you heard of the news?"

There are two students, they're both a boy.

"Yeah of course. I mean, who doesn't know about it."

"Can't believe that Raiden Ryoma would do that. And here I thought a few days ago that he's a cool dude."

Well, I was quite surprised too, but people probably have different motives deep inside of them.

In an empty hall, just near the storage room, Raiden Mei is there.

She moves in a haste, her eyes is red for some reason. Just as she goes around a corner, she trips at something.

"Ugh..." Raiden Mei crash to the ground. She looks up and spotted a group consisted of three students. There, one of them is holding out his leg.

"Hey, that's the criminal's daughter." He points at Raiden Mei as he smirks, the other laugh.

"There's no one her y'know~." One of the girls on the group with a blonde hair grabs Mei's hair.

"What are you doing!" Raiden Mei scream, she grabs the student's arm and tried to scratch it.

"Tch, back off you criminal scum." The girl punch Mei on the face. Raiden Mei hit the ground. Her lips is bleeding.

The groups laugh.

"Hey hey, what are you gonna do now? You're going to cry to your daddy? Oh wait, he's in jail right now isn't he?"

"HAHAHAHAHA"

Raiden Mei bite her lips. She tightened her fist. "...Shut up."

"Hm? What did you just say?" One of them, a boy with a cocky smile stands in front of her. He grabs Mei on her cheek. "Daddy ain't gonna help you y'know."

Raiden Mei grabs the boy arm. "DON'T TALK ABOUT MY FATHER!"

"Shut up you bitch!" The blonde hair girl kick Mei on her stomach.

"UGH!" Mei let go of her grips. She holds her stomach as she's writhing in agony.

"Oi oi oi, you're getting cocky aren't ya!" The blonde girl yells. "You're just a criminal's daughter and yet you dare stand up against us!?" She raised her hand.

Suddenly, the bell rang.

"Tch, let's go, class's about to start." The boy who trips Raiden Mei turns around.
