Part four; Tim

"Hey Luce what's up?" Tim answered a bit confused because it was very late "Please help me, please help me" she replied while crying hysterically. Tim jumped up from the couch and ran straight to the front door "Lucy what happened, you can tell me" he said while getting in his car but Lucy couldn't stop crying "Please Lucy, I can help you but where are you?" Tim asked in total panic "I- I'm outside of the apartment building" "what the hell are you doing there?" Tim said with a raised voice as he started driving to her apartment building.

"please don't yell at me, please" Lucy said as she started having a panic attack "I'm sorry Lucy I shouldn't have done that, it's okay". Tim didn't know how to handle the situation so he added Nyla, Angela, Nolan and Grey into the call. "Hey what is going on?" Angela said as she was the first to answer "Please come to Lucy's apartment, take your gun" Tim said, he didn't know what had happened so just in case.

"What why?!" Angela said "hey guys what is going on?" Nyla said as she picked up "Please help me" Lucy said and after that she blacked out. Everyone listens to Tim and sped to Lucy's house "Tim do you know what happened, Lucy isn't responding anymore" Grey said as he got in his car with Luna "no Lucy just called me in this state and told me to help her".

Tim arrived and saw that Lucy lay on the ground unconscious next to her car "Shit Lucy" Tim shouted and ran towards Lucy "Nolan bring Bailey, Lucy is unconscious" Tim said while a tear ran down his face looking at his favorite person laying in front of him. "Bailey is with me, ETA 3 minutes" Nolan said on the IPhone. Everyone was racing to get there on time "Lucy, come please Lucy I'm here wake up" Tim said crying and he picked her up, one arm under her knees and the other behind her back.

He looked away at the sight of her motionless body in his arms, she was very light, to light he tought by himself. "She's not breathing and unconscious" He screamed into the Phone "Tim, listen to me" Bailey said into the phone.

"Start doing CPR" she finished "okay okay" Tim lay Lucy on the ground and took her shirt of so she was only wearing a bra "omg" Tim sighted as he saw all the damage Chris had done to her, her whole body was covered in bruises. Tim sat next to her in shock and started reanimating her. A few seconds later Bailey, Angela and Nolan arrived at the same time and saw Tim reanimating Lucy while crying.

"She's not waking up, she's not waking up" Tim screamed as Bailey took over the CPR "I wasn't there for her Angela, she will die because of me!" Tim said to her while sobbing uncontrollably "No NO Tim, this is not your fault, you couldn't have done anything to protect her" "I should have Angela I knew something was wrong and I did nothing to protect her, I can't live without her Angela''

Tim said while sobbing onto her chest "No Tim, Lucy will pull through. She has to" Angela said, Grey, Luna and Nyla arrived "what is going on?!" Grey started as he ran to Lucy and dropped next to her. "Grey take over reanimating her, I'll get the gurney" Bailey said strict "Right okay" Grey said as he stared at her lifeless body fully covered with bruises and some blood, he took over the reanimating while they loaded Her onto the truck.

"Can I go with her please?" Tim begged Bailey ''yeah come on" Bailey replied "FIND CHRIS, THAT BASTARD '' Tim screamed back at the rest as They went into the truck and sped to the nearest hospital. "What the fuck just happened, did you see Lucy?!" Grey said to Angela "I- How could we let this happen to her, we are supposed to protect our own" Angela said as a tear ran down her face.

"come here" Nyla said as she pulled her in for a hug "we need to find Chris" Nolan said and Grey nodded "Luna, help angela and stay here, Nyla and Nolan come on" Luna comforted Angela as the rest went into the apartment building. They stood in front of the door "Chris come out, you have nowhere to go" Grey screamed but they didn't get an answer so he kicked the door down.

They saw Chris standing there with a big bruise on his face. "Put your hands where I can see them" Nolan said and Chris just did as he was told "turn around, put your hands behind your head" Grey said as he cuffed him, and Nyla read him his rights. They went to the station to lock him up and sped to the hospital. They all arrived and saw Tim sitting in the waiting room staring at the ground with Lucy's blood all over his hands "Tim what happened?" Angela said as she ran over to him, but he didn't give a response "Bradford what happened?" Grey tried again and Tim shot out of his zone.

"Yeah um i'm sorry, she came back in the truck but was unresponsive and for all I know she is now is surgery" Tim said as he started breaking down "I should have helped her Grey, that was my responsibility, I let her down" Tim said "No son, she would have never admitted it to us it's not your fault" Grey answered and they all just take a seat. They all sat there for a few hours. "Family of Lucy Chen?" A doctor came into the waiting room "Yes, here" Tim said and they all stood up.

"Are you Tim Bradford by any chance?" she asked him "Y- Yes that's me, wait why?" He replied "You're her emergency contact so come with me please" She said as she walked away "Wait what, no i'm sorry can you please just tell us how she is doing, were all her family here" Tim asked not moving "Okay, fine let's take a look" She said as she opened Lucy's file.

"She is out of surgery and doing well, we found some internal bleeding but we could stop it on time" She said and everyone was relieved "She has a lot of trauma though, a broken leg, wrist and shoulder, she has some very deep cuts and bruises and she has a severe concussion" She added.

"She will have a very painful recovery but she will recover completely" The doctor finished "okay thank you so much" Tim said "when can we see her?" He asked "well she is out of surgery but still asleep so you can see her now" the doctor answered " Yes we would Like that please" Nyla said and they all followed her. "Here, I'll let you have a moment" She said and she walked away. They went into her room, she was covered in bruises, her whole face was blue and covered in cuts. They all just stood there looking at what Chris had done to her "I'm so sorry Lucy" Tim said and he sat next to her.

"I'm so sorry" He said again "I- I can't look at this, let's make sure that bastard gets locked up forever" Nyla said "yeah, Tim you stay with Lucy if you want but we are going "Yeah i'm staying here for now thank you. A few hours went by and Lucy woke up seeing Tim sleeping next to her holding her hand. "Hey sleeping beauty" Lucy said and Tim woke up "Hey how are you feeling?" Tim asked as he let her hand go.

"Let's just go with not the best" She said and laughed but quickly stopped because it hurt too much. "I'm so sorry Luce, i wasn't there for you and the he-" Tim said but Lucy interrupted him by holding his hand "Please Tim it's not your fault, I only pushed you away and then Chris had gone too far and I didn't know what to do"  Lucy said as she started tearing up "No please Lucy it's going to be alright, I will be there your whole revalidation and you'll get through this I promise" Tim said and the doctor came in.

"Okay Officer Chen you will be out here in two days but you need someone who can take care of you for 3 weeks and then you can be out of here by then, so do you have anyone in mind?" She said "No not really" She said "I can take care of her" Tim imposed "No Tim I can't ask you to that" Lucy replied "Lucy!" Tim said and Lucy looked defeated "Okay it's settled then" The doctor said and she walked out of the room.

"Tim, what is Ashley going to think about this?" Lucy said with a worried face, Tim smiled "Nothing, because I actually broke up with her a few nights ago" Tim said "what why?" Lucy asked "It just wasn't working out between us".
