Chapter 5

*AVA'S POV*
It was 9:45 am when I woke up, it was Monday but since my mom didn't enroll me in school yet I don't have to go, which I was very happy about. I think she already left for work because I didn't hear anyone downstairs.
I got up and went to take a shower and everything after that I got dressed got my shoes on, and went downstairs. I actually found Brandon asleep on the couch, why didn't he just sleep in his bed? Oh that's right because he was to lazy to even put it up. Then again he's the one that put mine up. Anyways I went to the kitchen to get some breakfast, like cereal I got some fruity pebbles because who doesn't like fruit pebbles. As soon as I sat down to eat I heard a knock at the door, I went to go see who it was. I opened the door and there stood Hayes and Nash

"Oh hey guys, what are y'all doin here?" I asked as I let them in

"Everyone went to work and we had nothing to do, and it's so quiet without Sky. She went somewhere with Johnnie. Aren't you supposed to be in school?" Nash asked

"My mom hasn't enrolled me yet" I said as they followed me to the kitchen

I sat down as I ate my breakfast

"Y'all can sit down" I chuckled

That's when Brandon woke up and saw everyone in the kitchen. Everyone as in me, Nash, and Hayes

"Oh you guys are here, yay" Brandon said with a sarcastic smile

"You can at least show them some respect Brandon, plus you don't even know them" I said

"Show them respect after you tried to hook up with one of them?! He was in your bedroom, you should've left the door open like your supposed to with boys over." He raises his voice

Nash and Hayes' eyes both went wide

"I can't believe you just said that! First off I didn't try to hook up with anyone, he was helping me unpack. I can't believe you think your 15 year old sister would have sex! 15 BRANDON" I raised my voice even louder

"Ava I......"

I didn't let him finish his sentence. I can't believe Brandon, I thought he trusted me, I guess I was wrong.

"Save it Brandon, we're outta here." I said shaking my head

I took by bowl to the sink and motioned the boys to follow me. We left the house.

"Sorry about him" I said quietly

"Hey how about we all go to the park? there's one just down the block" Nash suggested, he sounded kind of upset

"Yeah let's go" Hayes said

I let Hayes go in front of me to stay back here with Nash so I could find out what was up.

"Hey....you okay?" I asked looks down at the side walk

"Yeah I'm okay" Nash said as the sadness was still there

"No you're not. I can tell when someone's upset, I can hear it in your voice. What's up Nash? You can tell me" I looked him right in the eye

"Last one there's a rotten egg" Hayes said like a little kid

You could see the park in the distance. Nash gave me a look as we'll talk later, I looked down and nodded.

"Oh your on" Hayes and I started running toward the park. I didn't even look back at Nash

We ran until the park got closer, Hayes was a couple feet in front of me. We got there and of course Hayes won and then I was in second and then Nash was jogging here so he was last.
