Chapter 8

*AVA'S POV*

I woke up from my nap to find everyone gone. My mom and Brandon, why the fuck don't they ever wake me up to go with them. It was about 4:45 pm, oh shit Shayla's supposed to be here at 5 I need to get ready. I got up to get dressed and everything, I straightened up my room and then went downstairs and straightened up some things. By then it was 5, I got out snacks and drinks and set on the island in the kitchen a few minutes later there was a knock on the door. I went to answer it

"Hey hey" Shayla said

" haha hey" I said as I let her in

"I set out snacks and drinks, they're in the kitchen" I said as she followed me to the kitchen

"Wow. This is such a nice house" she said admiring everything. Well she's never been here so

"Thanks" I said as we sat down

We ate snacks and messed around in the kitchen, and we made a huge mess trying to make cookies. There was flour every where and we had batter all over us, this didn't turn out so well

"You have cookie dough in your hair" I laughed at her

"So do you" she pointed and laughed

We just played with the dough some more, we did end up making cookies though. but they didn't turn out so great

"We are terrible cooks!" She laughed as I laughed along with her

After we cleaned up our messes and everything, we went to go clean up ourselves. Shayla followed me to my bedroom

"You look about my size" I took out some clothes for her to wear

She thanked me.

"You can use the bathroom across the hall, I'll use the downstairs one"

She thanked me again and we headed to take our showers

15 minutes later I got done and out my dirty clothes in the laundry. I went up to my room

A couple minutes later she come out and hands me her dirty clothes to put them in the wash. We headed downstairs, and then I hear a knock on the door

"Just one sec" I said to Shayla

"COMING" I walked toward the front door

I opened it to find Hayes standing there. I was surprised to see him, I wonder why he's here

"Hey" he said quietly and hugged me

I hugged back, after a few seconds we let go. All the sudden Nash and Cameron are standing behind Hayes

I opened the door wider to let them in

"What are you guys doing here?" I said walking to the kitchen with them following me

"We wanted to make sure you were okay" Nash said concerned

"Yeah. Why wouldn't I be?" I didn't make any eye contact with them.

I didn't want them to know I was upset about magcon. Yeah of course I didn't want them to leave but they had to, so many fans would be very upset and hurt that they couldn't meet the boys that basically saved their lives. I couldn't tell them I didn't want them go

"Because when we told you about magcon you looked hurt and just left" Nash replied

We got into the kitchen and Shayla looked up from her phone. I walked over to her as the boys stood in the walk way of the kitchen

"Boys this is Shayla, Shayla this is Cameron, Nash, and Hayes" I point introducing them

She waved and smiled
