Chapter 16

*AVA'S POV*

I couldn't sleep at all last tonight, all I could think about was my encounter with Nash in the elevator. I was for sure he was going to tell me he loves me, and yeah I do love him too. I have never felt this way about anyone before, even Carson, when I thought it was love. It wasn't. But this is different, this is love. I can tell. The way we look at each other, they way he'll put his needs before mine. How he stays up with me until 4 or 5 in the morning when I can't sleep. How intense it is when we play video games. How he'll sleep with me if I get scared. They way we play fight. The things he's taught me I didn't know before. The way he treats me. No one has ever treated me the way he does. He makes me feel special, like I'm worth something.

There's a bunch more little things that all leads up to the main reason I fell for this kid.

Suddenly the door burst open, Matt came in cheering and hollering followed by Aaron and Carter, what has gotten into these boys? They're such doofuses!

I sit up from my bed

"Woah woah what's going on here?" I matched the same tone in their voices

"Matt legit killed it in football, the game was so intense I thought I was gonna die!" Carter says

"So I'm guessing you guys won?" My eyebrows raised in confusion

"Hell yeah we did!" Aaron shouted

"Okay okay quiet down" I laughed as I shushed them

Next thing you know Nash, and Cameron, and Johnson and the other guys walk in all....sweaty. Gross

"It was that intense?" I threw my head back laughing

"Very" Cameron breathed heavily

Everyone laid down where they could find a spot

"Nuh uh. No, you guys better go change, take showers or something. You're getting everything dirty, it's gonna stink!" I cringed

Nash sat next to me

"Go away you sweaty ass" I held my nose

"No" he shook his hair on me as sweat flung out of it

"Ew Nash!!" I shrieked

I pushed him to the floor

"Shouldn't have did that" he playfully glared

My eyes widened, I got up and began to run around the room. Jumping over everyone trying not to trip

"Okay love birds, settle down" Carter rolled his eyes

"Yeah Nash you heard the man!" I ran and went to sit next to Carter

*NASH'S POV*

"How about we get chipotle tonight?" I suggested

Everybody agreed except me

"Erm...... I've never actually had it before" Ava says scratching the back of her neck

Cameron gasps dramatically

"What?!"
"You've never had chipotle?!" His mouth hung open

"No drama queen I haven't. You better close your mouth before you catch flys" Ava remarked back at Cameron

I laugh at her comment

"Love you though!" She smiles

"Whatever" he glares
