"Oh, Inna, I'm so sorry!" Isla yelped. She nuzzled her maw into my scruff. I smiled.
"Lay down here," she said. I did as I was told. She laid down beside me, laid her maw on my foreleg, and put her fluffy tail around us. I smiled and laid my head on hers. We slept together that night. It was so warm...
"MAMA!! HELP!!"
Isla and I shot our heads up at the same time. We raced out of the den.
"Great stars in the sky..." whispered Starfall.
"Starfall!" I said.
"By Queen Canista...." Gasu muttered.
"Gasu!" Isla barked.
A giant dinosaur-like creature was staring in front of us. She looked like the sun had fallen and took the form of a living being.
"Hello," she said. "I'm Solar."
"WHAT IN THE WORLD ARE YOU?!?!" I shouted.
"I'm a SolWing," she said, stepping back.
"You still didn't answer my question, Solar!" I spat.
"Oh, I see." She said. "You've never heard about dragons, have you, rat?"
"Excuse me?!" I hissed. "I am most certainly NOT a rat. I eat rats!"
"To me you are." She giggled.
"You're kind of cute! You would look good on my wall.." She said to the terrified cubs, pointing at them with her bird-like claw and scaling them for a good fit.
"DON'T TOUCH THEM!" Isla shouted.
"Jeez, sorry. Oh, I see. Where are your other eggs?" She asked, looking around.
"Um..." I said nervously. "We eat eggs."
"WHAT?!?" Solar bellowed. "You eat your children?!"
"Oh no, we don't." Isla laughed. "We don't have any eggs because we don't lay them. We're not like you. These little guys," she said, pointing at the cubs, "they didn't come from eggs. They were born like that."
"Wow, um, that's weird." She said, her face crinkling.
"Not to us, it's not!" I said proudly.
"Ok. Who are you?" she hissed.
"I'm Inna."
"Isla."
"Ok. These are my children."
Two dragons walked up, one blue with galaxy wings, and one was beautiful. She had the mountain lights on her wing skin and a galaxy pattern on her scales.
"This is Seastorm," she said, pointing at the blue one, "and this is Luna." She said pointing at the smaller, and prettier one.
"They are ugly little things, aren't they!" Solar laughed. "When they get older, I'm planning to kill them and put them on my wall." Solar smiled.
"Three moons, you scare me..." Seastorm whispered.
"Seastorm!" Solar snapped. "When did I give you permission to talk?"
"Sorry. It's not like my words are going to kill you. But you're going to kill me, that's for sure." Seastorm hissed.
"Why do you look weird?" I asked.
"What do you mean?" asked Luna.
"Did I give you permission to talk, Luna?" growled Solar.
"Sorry, mother..." whined Luna.
