[OLD] Inna

Chapter 9

I soon learned how to slimmer, and wa-akkir.

"I am Inna. I am changing. I am Opie."

My tan fur changed into white fur as I grew larger and my tail stretched out. A silvertip tingled at the top of my tail as I finished the transformation.

"You're the wolf from earlier!" Isla yipped.

"What was his name?" she said as she tapped her head with her claw.

I smiled and didn't notice I was blushing when I said "Opie." Isla laughed.

"You're blushing."

I quickly shook my head back and forth.

"N-No I wasn't.."

She did the loud laugh sound that I heard before.

"What is that sound called?" I asked her.

"A gekker," she said.

"Gekker....." I thought. "I've heard that before..."

I was shaken from my thoughts as my cubs and Isla's cubs loped up to me.

"Moma!" Starfall mewed. "Tash bit me!"

Isla glared at her cub, Tash.

"Did this really happen, Tash?" she snarled.

He snarled right back. "No!"

"Did too!"

"Did not!"

"DID TOO!"

"DID NOT!"

"Cubs!" I spat.

They immediately stopped bickering.

"Look at this, Moma!"

A giant gash was broken into her shoulder.

"By Queen Canista, Tash!" Isla spat. "You're getting nothing but skinny rabbit leg this moon!"

Tash was mad.

"You mouse-heads!" he spat.

He ran back into the cave where we lived. His little sister, Kosa, couldn't stop laughing.

"Kosa.."

Isla glared at her daughter. Kosa stopped laughing. Isla's gaze said it all. It was an if-you-don't-stop-laughing-you'll-get-in-big-trouble kind of gaze. The biggest cub, Gasu, walked up.

"What's up with Tash?" he asked.

"He's in trouble," Kosa replied.

"Look what he did to Starfall!"

Gasu looked at her wound. His eyes grew big.

"Wow..." he trailed off.

We went for a walk to find some prey. We were in Three Tree Forest, the best to find good elk. The bad part is there are lots of bears and eagles here. I looked to my side and saw a ginger body walking towards me.

"Sparki!" I mewled.

I went closer and she disappeared. I saw my whole family, but they all disappeared. A beeping sound pierced my ears. The world grew murky, and I couldn't see anything.

Then everything went dark.
