That night, the stars whispered to me. They told me to follow them. I was confused, but an urge inside me told me to not stop.

"More running.." I thought.

The stress of the wolves still muddled my thoughts. I ran and finally found myself at a massive tree. It had a cave inside of it, leading to the middle of the tree. It was just big enough for me and my babies. I went in and laid down, something I hadn't done in forever. Soon, I would have a family. More lynxes to join me as I venture, learning about the land of the world I live in. I would teach them too. One thing I was taught as a cub is: "If you hear a gekker, run in the other direction." I don't know what a gekker is, but I listened. I would teach them to stay away from the water, and if they ever get lost, find a friend, use your senses, and do what I will teach them. A jolt of pain suddenly ran through me, from my tail to the end of my maw. I winced, but it wasn't that bad compared to the ones to come.

"It's time," I said to myself.
