Hello! So excited for this chapter and for you guys to see Charlie's side of the family and my take on them! ❤️❤️❤️
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Alec POV
"Stop kicking me Millie!" I grumble for the fifth time as Millie's foot collides with my thigh. We are on an airplane! We are going to visit Grandma and Granda in Kent. Papa is very excited, he says his side of the family haven't gotten together in like 2 years. I'm also excited, I always like seeing Oliver and Auntie Tori and Uncle Michael.
It's not a long flight and I've been on a plane many times but Millie has only been twice, meaning she demanded the window seat. I agreed, only after we decided I could have the window seat on the way back. So that leaves me in the middle, crammed between Daddy and Millie. Papa is sitting somewhere a couple rows ahead, Daddy said Papa can't handle sitting next to us for flights, I don't see why though.
"Move ova!" Millie argues back to me, she pushes her little chubby arm into my side. I roll my eyes and nudge her back, making her whine.
"Daddy! Alec push!" She cries to daddy as she stands up in her seat.
"Sit back down Millie. You pushed him first princess" Daddy tells her and I resist and smirk at the victory so I act oblivious and keep my nose in my comics.
"No fair!" My sister whines and kicks her feet against the seat in front of her, which is thankfully empty.
"Cut it Millie. Sit still for just a little longer" Daddy tries to reason, I'm caught in the middle physically as they go back and forth over me. Daddy looks tired and I feel bad.
"No!" She whines and pokes her tongue out her mouth. She is trying to look all tough with her hands on her hips but it's hard when she is wearing a tutu, unicorn t shirt and has a bow in her hair.
"Do you need to sit next to Daddy in the middle?" Daddy threatens and all of a sudden her mouth shuts and she plops down in her seat and continues playing.
Daddy leans back in his seat and sighs. He rubs a hand over his face and grumbles to himself.
"Charlie is so sitting with you lot on the way back.." He mumbles
The rest of the plane ride goes smooth, I eat some cookies and read my comics about Batman and Robin. After her fight with Daddy, Millie crashes asleep against that plane window and Daddy scrolls on his phone.
We are about to land and all of a sudden I feel my ears start to feel heavy and tingly. I take off my headphones and cover my ears, it feels like there are ants crawling in my ear drums or that I'm super deep underwater.
"My ears hurt Daddy!" I whine to him and he puts down his phone to stroke back my hair and comfort me.
"It's the altitude drop baby boy. Come here" He offers and explains and opens his arms to me. I shove my face into his chest and let him stroke my hair and give me comforting words. Daddy does just that.
"It's okay...it'll pass," Daddy whispers softly. "Your okay"
I keep nodding as he talks and when the plane tilts down to land I hold tight to him as I feel the plane skidding against the tarmac.
"There we go, it's all done!" Daddy says and pats my thigh. I uncurl myself and stretch.
Daddy, Millie and I walk off the plane together hand in hand. We then meet Papa at our gate and once reunited we walk to the baggage claim. I watch the bags come out from the wall on this spinning carousel thing. They look kind of silly going around in circles, waiting for them to be claimed.
