"You should wear your hair down" I should but hes gonna be here in like 20 minutes. I have ashley doing my makeup and Delaney doing my hair so I think ill be good. Except what if the date isnt good and he doesnt like me or realizes im to much.
Somehow 15 minutes pass by quickly and I stand up to see the hair and makeup. Ive gotta say ill have these two do this for my wedding too. I get a text saying hes here, and I walk out to him.
"Hey, you ready?" I respond to him as I sit down in his very nice car. It looks like he cleaned it beforehand. "Yeah, so are you going to tell me where we are going?"
"A nice restaurant," he adds. "You know the one near that ice cream place?" I'm surprised he is taking me there; that restaurant is quite fancy. I prefer a nice picnic or something, but I will be grateful for this.
"So what do you do in football?" I start, and he chuckles.

The food at the place was very good, and he paid, so that went very well. He said he wants to go to a boardwalk too.
"Come on, let's go down to the beach." I add the fact that I'm in heels. I take them off and go with him down near the water.
"You like sunsets?" I nod at him. The sky is a pretty pink-orange sunset. My mom used to tell me that was the sun's way of saying goodbye. I've stuck to always thinking about that.
I check the time, seeing that it's already 9:30 and we've been sitting here for a while. "You mind dropping me off now? It's getting pretty late." He nods and gestures to the car.
We walk back and do some small talk on the drive there. He stops in front of my house and tells me, "I had a good time tonight." I smile and say, "Me too."
We stare at each other before we both lean in. I pull away after a bit and say goodbye to him. I wave to him as he drives off. Getting ready for bed, I smile to myself. This was a good date.
