Shubman stood in front of the mirror, still undecided about what to wear. He had pulled out several outfits but nothing seemed right for the dinner at Virat's. Just then Shahneel walked in, holding an outfit in her hands.
"Wear this," she said confidently.
Shubman turned around, surprised. "When did you get here? And how did you get in?"
Shahneel rolled her eyes. "I came just now, and don't forget, I have your house keys, dumbo."
With a resigned smile, Shubman took the outfit from her and went to his closet to change. He emerged wearing a ribbed, short-sleeved brown polo shirt with a collar that gave him a comfortable yet polished look. The shirt featured a few buttons at the top, allowing him to adjust the neckline to his preference. He paired it with light beige trousers that offered a modern fit, balancing trendiness with classic style. A silver watch with a white face on his left wrist added a touch of elegance to the ensemble.
"Perfect," Shahneel said, giving him a once-over. "Now go knock 'em dead."
Feeling more confident, Shubman thanked her and headed out. He drove towards Virat's house, his mind wandering to thoughts of seeing Sara again. As he arrived and stepped out of his car, his eyes immediately found her in the crowd.
Sara was wearing a knee-length brown dress adorned with charming polka dots. The dress featured short sleeves and a flared skirt, offering a playful yet elegant look. The cinched waistline accentuated her figure, adding a flattering definition to her silhouette. A subtle, decorative perforated pattern around the waist and the bottom hem enhanced the dress's overall aesthetic. She completed the look with strappy flat sandals that complemented the outfit's color scheme. Her hair was styled in pretty waves, framing her face beautifully.
