Sara's eyes fluttered open, her surroundings coming into a blurry focus. The room was dimly lit, the walls seeming to close in on her as she tried to gather her bearings. She felt the rough texture of ropes biting into her skin and realized her hands and legs were bound tightly. Panic surged through her, and she let out a desperate scream, "HELP!"

Her voice echoed in the silence, but it was soon met with the sound of footsteps approaching. A door creaked open, and a man stepped into the faint light. His face was shadowed, but his voice was chillingly familiar. "No one will help you here, Sara Tendulkar," he said, his tone dripping with a mix of obsession and triumph. "How long I have waited for you, my love."

Sara's heart pounded in her chest as she tried to make sense of the situation. The man moved closer, the dim light finally revealing his face. She recognized him—someone from her past, someone she thought she had left behind.

"You," she whispered, her voice filled with a mix of fear and disbelief. "Why are you doing this? Let me go!"

The man laughed, a cold, eerie sound that sent shivers down her spine. "Let you go? After all these years? I've waited too long to be with you, Sara. You were meant to be mine."

Sara's mind raced as she tried to think of a way out, her training and instincts kicking in despite the fear coursing through her veins. "You don't have to do this. We can talk, find a solution."

The man shook his head, a twisted smile playing on his lips. "No, Sara. Talking won't change anything. I've made sure of that."

As the man moved closer, Sara's determination hardened. She refused to give in to the fear, and she knew she had to find a way to escape. She took a deep breath, preparing herself for whatever was to come, her eyes never leaving the man who had haunted her for so long.

The man leaned in closer, his breath warm against Sara's cheek. She could smell the faint scent of tobacco mixed with cheap cologne. Her stomach churned in disgust and fear as his lips hovered dangerously close to hers.

Just as he was about to make contact, a shrill ringtone pierced the silence. The man paused, clearly irritated, and pulled back slightly. He fished a phone out of his pocket, his eyes narrowing as he glanced at the caller ID.

"Don't go anywhere, my dear," he muttered sarcastically, casting a cruel smile at Sara before stepping away to take the call.

Sara watched him turn his back to her, and her mind raced with possibilities. She strained against the ropes, desperately trying to loosen them, but they were too tight. She needed a different plan.

As the man answered the call, his tone changed from predatory to cautious. "Yes?" he said, trying to keep his voice low but not low enough for Sara to miss. "What? Now? Are you sure?"

There was a pause as he listened to the voice on the other end. His expression shifted from annoyance to concern. "Alright, I'll be there as soon as I can," he replied, ending the call abruptly.
