Shubman was lazing around in his house when the doorbell rang. He got up, walked to the door, and opened it, only to find Shah Rukh Khan standing there.
"Sir, you here?" Shubman asked, shocked.
Shah Rukh nodded and Shubman quickly stepped aside to let him in. As they settled into the living room, Shah Rukh broke the silence. "I am here to talk about Suhana."
Shubman nodded, feeling a sense of unease. "Okay, sir."
Shah Rukh continued, "I know whatever happened months ago has deeply disturbed you. That's why I have brought a marriage proposal for you and Suhana."
Shubman was taken aback. He could not marry Suhana; his heart belonged to Sara. Gathering his thoughts, he said, "I am sorry, sir, but I cannot accept this. I have no feelings for your daughter."
Shah Rukh nodded, but before he could respond, Suhana walked in, her eyes filled with a mix of desperation and confusion. "Why, Shubman? Why don't you love me?"
Feeling cornered, Shubman looked to Shah Rukh for support. "Sir, I do not want to make this an issue. Please leave."
Aryan, who had been listening from the hallway, stepped in, his expression stern. "Answer my sister."
Shubman took a deep breath, trying to remain calm. "It's not necessary to answer this, Aryan. I respect you and your family, but my feelings cannot be forced."
Shah Rukh put a hand on Suhana's shoulder, gently guiding her towards the door. "Let's go, Suhana. It's clear where Shubman's heart lies."
As they left, Shubman felt a heavy weight lift from his chest. He knew he had made the right decision, even though it was difficult. His thoughts drifted to Sara, and he realized how much he truly cared for her.
Shubman was thinking about the same thing after they left. Then Sara came and Shubman lost in deep thought. She kept her bag on the table and sat next to him and asked, "Baby?"
Shubman turned and said, "Hey Sara." Sara smiled and Shubman hugged him and Sara hugged him back.
After a while Shubman broke from the hug and Sara went to the washroom and came back. She was sitting on the couch and Shubman was sitting near the dining table writing the groceries which his helper had to bring for the month.
Then Shubman kept the list and sat on the couch. Sara came and sat on his lap and said, "I love you."
Shubman was deep in thought after Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana, and Aryan left. The encounter had stirred a lot of emotions in him. He was lost in contemplation when the door opened, and Sara walked in. She placed her bag on the table and sat next to him, gently calling, "Baby?"
Shubman turned, momentarily surprised. "Hey, Sara," he responded with a soft smile.
Sara returned his smile and leaned in to hug him. Shubman embraced her warmly, finding comfort in her presence. After a while, they broke the hug, and Sara went to the washroom to freshen up. She soon returned and sat on the couch, while Shubman remained at the dining table, writing out the monthly grocery list for his helper.
